Homelessness Is A Growing Concern In The Kansas City Metro

A homeless encampment in Watts Mill Park in South Kansas City is raising concerns about the increasing desperation caused by the COVID-19 economy, "This is not like the panhandlers of a few years ago where they were just going after money and leaving," says Jasper Mirabile, "They come right up to the cars, they come in my dining room at the restaurant."

  2. Place as a rule always looks like a dump with trash everywhere from the hood rats over in the Wilow Creek Apts off Wornall by QuikTrip. Probably residents and not hobos being seen. Close to MickeyDs where they can get section 8 food and Price Chopper.

  3. With Starbucks and Mcdonalds being closed inside where else are they going to hang out? Many of them are faking sick so they can spend the night in the hospitals.

    1. But bullies need to have someone to pick on to make themselves feel better about their own misery.

  6. ^^ Actually I will do really good and I am better than them. I listened to the ant and the grasshopper when I was about 4. While Blowhards listened to grass , opioids and hollyweird "Stars" to guide you. Keep snorting the Kool aid and blaming others for your failures and lack of preparing. BTW- How is that Miata running ? Sucks to be you, Hopefully your sucking can get a hot meal. Weird

    1. I’m here also! I’m here strictly for the entertainment value of childish comments like yours! I’m here on a day off from my secure job which provides my wife and I full health care. I’m drinking a cup of coffee in my new home, with two cars and a motorcycle in the garage. I have these things because at a young age I chose not to be a fuckup. I chose to finish school, not smoke weed and not waste time playing video games. I’m not embarrassed about being successful, productive and responsible. The taxes I pay help to take care the folks who chose to become fuckups. THATS weird.

Byron, I think we may assume probably all the folks posting on TKC, if not city denizens, are at least area residents, except for you.

You, alone, all by yourself, are the only commentor living hundreds of miles away.

Could it possibly be because, like us, nobody anywhere near where you live gives a shit what you think?

    Please enlighten us.

  10. ^^You're "successful, productive and responsible"? Huh? You're here. That means you lost. Successful people don't post here. This the bottom of the barrel in KC CHUD. Me excluded of course, but not you dummy. Let me fix it for you: You're broke, lazy, and lonely. There. No scram Boomer.
