Rep. Steve Watkins temporarily stepping away from committees to fight fraud charges
Kansas 2nd District U.S. Rep. Steve Watkins said he's "temporarily and voluntarily" stepping aside from committees to fight what he calls bogus charges in an election fraud investigation. Watkins was charged Tuesday with interference with law enforcement, providing false information, voting without being qualified, unlawful advance voting and failing to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of a change of address relating to a 2019 local election.
Appears to me he's your everyday common politician.
ReplyDelete^^Republican. that's what you meant. Fixed it for you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Pillsbury doughboy.
ReplyDeleteIs "temporarily stepping aside from committees" politi-speak for getting your ass kinked out the door?
ReplyDeleteDude's a d-bag. Surprised he even got in there in the first place. That said, the charges by the RINO DA are probably going to backfire. Gutter politics at its finest.
ReplyDeleteDennis Taylor should win this primary in a walk, but I don't have any faith in the GOP to actually choose a good candidate.
ReplyDeleteEither Watkins or LaTurner flips this seat to the Dems. Keep that in mind.
was it deception or just casualness?
ReplyDeleteI remember when Halle Lindstrom who is Dave Lindstrom's daughter appeared in TV/Internet ads for Steve Watkins stating how she didn't trust Paul Davis. Well I think Paul Davis does not have the scandal issues like Steve Watkins does.
