Kansas City Victim's Family After Federal Execution: 'I Hope He Rots In Hell'

Among MSM, there was seemingly a lot of sympathy for a federal convict suffering the death penalty for a brutal murder . . . Meanwhile, local sentiment didn't match journalistic bias.

Example:

'I hope he rots in hell': KC victim's family speaks out after Kansas man executed

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Time ran out Thursday morning for a Kansas man convicted of abducting and murdering a metro teen. Wesley Ira Purkey died by lethal injection at the federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, at 7:19 a.m. Purkey abducted 16-year-old Jennifer Long from Kansas City, Missouri, in 1998.

  5. 10:58 - actually the Bible points to hell being inside the earth. I really never believed that and though it a kids tale, or something from horror movies. So I went to the Bible to disprove that. However everything in the Bible points to the "waiting room" for the people going to hell being in the earth. After the judgement day (at the end of the world) they are cast into burning hell. Its not on earth as God completely eliminates this earth and it doesnt exist. So the hell bound are in a waiting room, suffering very badly and are in torment. But are not in hell yet. Once in hell they will be joined by demons and Satan (wont that be fun). The Godly people go to heaven when they die, but in spirit form and are not given a new reserrecton body until the Judgement day. So godly dead are in heaven now, evil are in the earth awaiting their sentence and then will be delivered into hell.

  6. But Jesus saves, don't ya know? If he sincerely asked Jesus for forgiveness, he's in heaven laughing at all you hell wishers.

  9. Well God is very powerful and can forgive a murderer. But someone who kills is so far from God and wants nothing to do with God (due to guilt). So the chances of a murderer repenting is small. Remember only 1 thief/murderer repented on the cross next to Christ. And only when he was dying and had no other choice. The other thief/murdered didnt repent. And they were being killed right next to God, during the earthquake, the hours of darkness and the dead people coming out of their graves to view the crucifixion. So they knew he was God and only 1 repented. Rest assured most murderers have obviously declined God. Once on a path, its hard for humans to change paths. There is a narrow path and a wide path.

  12. Now we have some Byron wannabee explaining the Bible by their own translation and what God wanted. Do you sit on the left side of God ? Right side of Byron ? Keep posting after you make me a sam-wich.

  13. You go to hell for : lying, adultery, stealing, swearing, envy, bearing false witness, sex outside marriage and putting other things in life first before God (its idolatry, or making your own #1 item of importance in the world, replacing God as #1) and a number of other commandments that we all break.

But professing God's will is possible. As his will is in the Bible. God will respect those that inform others of his will. God will disrespect those that ignore his will. Ignore his will and then you go to Hell. Unless you repent, change and follow God before you die. Being a "pretty good person" will not get you to heaven, you go to hell. It doesnt cut it.

  14. Alot of people talking about heaven wont ever get there. People are too selfish to dedicate themselves to the creator that made them and gave them life. Yep, they dont want God.

  16. No God? You have never seen DNA code. It looks like an advanced computer programmmer's language, perfectly written to contain all the details needed to replicate you (and your replacement body cells) and its stored inside your body, in every cell. Plus its in every plant and animal. Yours would be over a billion pages long if printed out. So clearly a higher power made you recently.

If your found a watch on the ground you would never say the earth "made it" over millions of years of evolution, or it just suddenly appeared by itself. If you found a book, and read it, you wouldnt say it just made itself from falling leaves, mud, water, wind and debris. But you say God doesnt exist so he didnt make you?

  17. God will give you what you want. You want heaven - you can go there. You want hell - you can go there. But once your at those destinations you cannot change your mind and go to the other place. Choose wisely. Your eternal happiness depends on it.
