New civil lawsuit alleges more claims of discrimination at Kansas City VA Hospital

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Another civil lawsuit was filed by a former employee of the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital in Federal Court Tuesday night. Like other filed against the VA, it alleges discrimination and mistreatment. "I am strong and here to stand up for my rights," said Plaintiff Tess Lustado-Lybarger.

Just more lazy people seeking to climb on board the gravy train.

As a veteran who has taken advantage of the services provided by the VA, I can tell you over the years the services are vastly improved. I believe once it was determined that the staff could be fired for cause, they started tightening up their ship. The staff doctors and residents are mostly competent and caring. It's the support staff that needs a lot of training in bedside manner. I wouldn't be worried about the care I received there, but someone needs to straighten out the staff. Maybe that's why they are filing all of these claims. Someone has brought the hammer down. Trump EO'd the changes that affected VA staff tenure. Nice job, Trump!

Silly law suit. Give the job to a vet. She's from Manila.

  7. My father in law received excellent care at the KC VA hospital.

But I still don't understand why every guy who was dragged kicking and screaming into the military, or joined it to acquire a skill and then did the minimum necessary to get by for as short a time as possible until discharge should be entitled to lifetime medical care at the VA. It should be limited to retirees and their immediate family, those who suffered injury while on active duty and those who developed mental problems due to engagement in combat and not while being the company cook.

  8. ^^Well you don't understand because you never served, Thank God for that.
