Kansas City Suffers Coronavirus Spike

The numbers are getting worse throughout the metro, here's a data roundup that's worth a look as social media devolves into one big mask debate . . . Checkit:

Positive coronavirus cases continue to climb in KC metro

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Since the onset the coronavirus pandemic, the St. Luke's Health System set a record Wednesday for the highest number of inpatient COVID-19 positive patients. "The virus is still here and we need to be vigilant and don't forget the things that we did," said Dr. Marc Larsen, an emergency room physician and the incident command operations chair for COVID-19.

  1. It is because of the vandals, rioters and looters down at the J.C. Nichols Fountain.

  2. ^^and yet it's not. It's from all the Trumpkins who won't wear masks. Weird.

  3. Just as the corona count rises in Kansas City due to the rioters protesters and marches, KCTV5 goes all the way down to McDonald County in Missouri to illustrate how rural white people is the cause. People spending their money on the river relaxing with their family and friends is a sin! But protesting looting and attacking the police..kctv needs to investigate the black on black crime and what's causing it.

  4. Yet no mention of the death rate skyrocketing.

  5. It's weird how protesters in NYC protested in probably what one could describe as exponentially higher numbers than KC, yet positive cases have not risen. It's almost as if protests aren't an indicator and just an excuse for old fucking shrivs to bitch about protests while they carry on being assholes and not wearing a fucking mask.

Wear a fucking mask for others.

No sir! As long as the local government County government state government and the federal government will not require condom use to reduce HIV / AIDS infections and the rising number of STDs I will not wear a mask. HIV is a death sentence! Until politicians openly speak out against gay people not using protection I will not wear a mask. In the early 80s in San Francisco, the speaking of the need for condom use for gay people was looked at as a homophobic idea. There was nothing about saving lives it was about I have the freedom to do whatever the hell I want! They had no idea at the time how the HIV virus was transmitted. But the bath house is kept open and the death count kept Rising.. there was absolutely no! Consideration of changing behaviors because of the HIV. All we were told was we must understand and be sympathetic. This was dr. Faucis plan he's the man who told us we cannot dictate or should want to dictate the behavior of others.

  6. Remember the Memorial Day we're-all-gonna-die crap? The libs told us there would be a HUUUUUUUGGGEEEE surge in deaths two weeks after that. Well, didn't happen. Now we have all the reprobates hanging out with friends and family on Independence Day and in a week and a half we'll have another huge spike in deaths. We all must mask up, it saves you from Rona. There will NOT be a spike in death, probably not even a reduction in the downward trend. The Country has been on a continuing downward trend in deaths since 4/18. None of the hyperbolic reporting of hotspots of cases and deaths has occurred. It won't here either. This is a prog-push for people to believe only what the deep State says and for prog-foot soldiers to show their willingness to support their masters. Sheeple

  7. What a bunch of horse shit propaganda:

"Since the onset the coronavirus pandemic, the St. Luke’s Health System set a record Wednesday for the highest number of inpatient COVID-19 positive patients."

Notice it does not say how many if any of the patients are being treated for covid or are experiencing any symptoms - they tests everyone going into a hospital whether you are there for covid or something else - if you test positive then you are covid patient even if there for cancer, routine surgery..etc.

"According to data analyzed by 41 Action News, while Wednesday marked the first day in the metro with no new deaths reported since June 26, the metro saw 455 new cases. It’s the second-most in a single day."

What the fuck does this even mean? What are the metro deaths out of 600K plus people 35 - 40? This fake plague is not even as deadly as a good flu season - the numbers are bullshit anyone dying regardless of cause and tests positive is a covid death according to the cdc.

Again what is a new "case"...someone tested because going to hospital for something else, do they have any symptoms, any treatment for covid?

If you still believe anything the media is reporting on this you are seriously misinformed and must not mind being lied to.

  8. Setting a record does not really mean much for St. Luke’s as they never had many inpatient cases to begin with and now they are testing everyone who comes in for any kind of procedure unavoidably resulting in more positive cases but not necessarily checked-in for Covid. More hysteria from the press trying to gin up more fear in the population.

  10. Gee whiz 9:50 pulling quotes and surmising conclusions from those quotes or in his mind, lack of conclusions.

I'll stick to the experts vs. asshole on TKC.

  11. Hey 9:50, honest question, do you really think when a cancer patient goes to St. Lukes for an appointment with zero COVID symptoms, they're given a test? If so, how do you you know this is the case?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Most people can see thru this BS propaganda. The Virus' death rate is much much lower than expected. Testing is everywhere now, unlike a month ago, thus cases have "increased" obviously. Please remember to vote in November.

  13. 11:19 - if they are admitted to the hospital yes - everyone admitted is tested.

    ReplyDelete
  14. !!:19. Yes they are, definitely. Cancer patients are given COVID tests by. St. Luke’s repeatedly during treatment, now that they can get treatment. They couldn’t get treatment at all earlier before testing was readily available.
