KANSAS CITY RANKS AMONG PLACES LIKELY TO SUFFER CORONAVIRUS REDUX!!!

A few of our readers are reacting to this line that has locals irked . . . Once again "modeling" offers dire predictions whilst hospitals prepare for a COVID-19 resurgence. Here's the mention that nobody wanted . . .

"The number of confirmed cases is likely to rise substantially in places like Atlanta, Kansas City, Mo., Tulsa, Okla., and Greenville, S.C."

COVID-19 surge pushes US toward deadly cliff

The coronavirus is spreading at ever-faster rates in a broad array of states, putting the U.S. on the precipice of an explosion of illness that threatens to overwhelm the nation's health care system. The painful economic lockdowns imposed in March gave the country time to flatten the epidemiological curve and contain the virus.

  1. More bullshit panic.

  2. Why is this?
Do we have an especially stupid aggregation of minorities and redneck "deniers who don't wear masks?
Is that the common (and I do mean common) factor that should cause us to have a Surge?

  3. Oh, please. The same factors that kept the first wave from ever achieving significant numbers are still suppressing any spread: low population density and lack of mass transit. Additionally, KC itself is like a post-zombie apocalypse in terms of visible life and activity and suburban businesses are mostly empty as people are frightened into staying home. This is just more fear mongering on top of fear mongering.

  4. ^^^ And yet you're probably not going to get up close and personal with strangers for your own protection.

If you believe what yous say, please post photos of how you are socializing at a nursing home. On the other half, don't do any of that and must admit you're a hypocrite.

    Ridiculous!
130,000 plus Liberal Traitors dying just to make Trump look bad!

  6. I have noticed that before this virus I couldn't go anywhere without someone hacking all over the place. Movie theaters, stores, everywhere. When the virus came in I have been to doctor's offices, stores, shopping malls, and no one is coughing or even sneezing. Maybe the virus scare gave a type of power of suggestion.

  7. Back in March we were still in cold and flu season, not to mention hayfever and allergies. Now, it is summer. There is usually very little sickness this time of year.

  8. ^^^ did you see how New York buried their dead? They dug a big long ass trench, stacked pine coffins three deep with bobcats and then pushed dirt on top of them.

That’s how the dimwits do things, Who’s the traitor again?

  9. ^^Who gives a fuck? They are dead. Do you want to shove a stick up their ass, plant them in the front yard and put Christmas lights on them?

  10. Here’s the facts for you boys, we had 1187 cases for a four month period starting the first week of March through the end of May, most of those had recovered. Now, going back the last four weeks we’ve gained 2000 new cases, what happened you say? We also added three new deaths last week.

The riots happened, it started the last weekend of May and carried on for a couple weeks. The science proves what happened and that the dimwits are responsible for allowing them to run amok.

They mayor and clowncil have blood on their hands.

  11. 5:13 you’re next for the pine box and getting buried in a ditch chud

  12. 5:13 doesn’t have any family so nobody cares what happens to him, toss his dumb ass in the landfill and be done with him.

  13. 2000 new cases since the riots.... I’m guessing the “redux” is already here.

Thanks mayor mckneely, I’m so glad you were looking out for the 485,000 non rioters in the city, you’re the bestus!

  14. Aren't the new cases the result of more testing being available?

For a perspective, how many people have died of diabetes, cancer, heart attacks, pneumonia, car accidents, homicides etc in the U.S. since Jan 1?

Doctors are tagging everything as corona virus death regardless if the patient had a pre-existing condition and probably would have died anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  15. ^^ 3,200,000 Americans die each year of all causes.

Corona-Virus deaths of 130,000 represent only 3% of all U.S. deaths.

  16. 4:47 Surely you are aware that family members are still being kept out of nursing homes and from visiting with their elderly family members while the staff in those facilities are doing God knows what in their spare time. Say a prayer for the elderly who are spending their last days in cruel isolation due to the mandates of local governments. They never did anything to deserve this.

Have I been up close and personal with strangers lately? Of course not as I did not attend the Black Supremacist Riots earlier last month. That is my point, there are few opportunities for community spread in the KC area now.

  17. Redux ?, what do you mean redux ? Ask a hospital employee, the virus has never hit here.....yet.

  18. Not only were the violent protests a big reason for more infections, but the young people are gathering in bars and large homes without masks. They want to party and aren't going to let anything get in the way of that. They figure they're not going to die from it and don't care if their granny or someone else's gets it from them. Self-centered pr*cks.
