KANSAS CITY MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS DEMANDS ANOTHER MONTH OF MASKS AMID WORSENING PANDEMIC!!!
Today's obligatory dress code update signals that coronavirus isn't slowing down and continues to threaten Kansas City and the nation.
Between the lines . . .
- Mask violations are now now the number one rising report to 311 help line.
- Nearly all local businesses have complied with the order so far, albeit with a litany of complaints.
- Credit to some of our Republican readers who admit that masks make sense despite the President's reluctance to wear one.
Fundamentally, Mayor Lucas seems to have support on the issue.
Northeast News: Mask mandate extended indefinitely
KSHB: Anyone visiting public spaces in Kansas City, Missouri, will now be required to wear a mask indefinitely.Lucas said the requirement will run alongside the state of emergency for the city, which is currently set to expire August 15 but could be extended.
