Shelter urges pet owners to take precautions in dangerous heat
Recent cases of animals dying from heat exposure have put Great Plains SPCA on alert."This story to me is very, very personal, just to see the suffering," said Tam Singer, the shelter's CEO. She said many people may not realize the danger they're putting their animals in when they leave them outside.
