According to the article, there is plenty of bandwidth and opportunity to go digital at comparatively low prices and KC offers some of the best access in the country. What's the problem? If residents of economically depressed neighborhoods would prioritize their values differently, their wouldn't be any "digital disparity." As TKC points out, I bet kids and families have $1000 iPhones aplenty. How about we buy a $300 phone and pay for a laptop or a tablet so kids can actually use them for something more than Tik Tokking genital pics to their boyfriends? Get priorities. Pull up your pants. Get a job. Pay your bills. Function in society without marijuana and crime. Ensure your kids do well. That's all you have to do. A million people in the KC area do it every day.
