Win-Win as far as as any local rez is concerned . . . The racist tomahawk chop finally get thrown out OR corporate white guilt pays a few more bills during the pandemic . . . Here's the upshot and the negative momentum for nasty local traditions . . . Read more:
After Washington's name change, Native American activists see plenty of work left to do
"We need allies. We need people from all groups to help us out. Because there's not a ton of Native people in Atlanta or in Cleveland or in Chicago. We need the help of others to keep that momentum going."
If they play the "black" national anthem it's over for me. The NFL is entertainment and politics of any type are not welcome.
ReplyDeleteIt's called extortion.
ReplyDelete^^do you think they'll miss you? Bitch please. Boycotts NEVER work as the boycotters ALWAYS backslide. Your idle threats fool no one. Get out of here with that shit.
ReplyDeleteChimpy's panicked! He can't wait to kneel and sniff jockstraps!
DeleteChiefs is nothing close to Red-Skins
ReplyDeletethat is literally calling out a skin color
Who knows though with all these punk ass cancel culture fags now days
Literally nobody who has ever done the Tomahawk chop at Arrowhead was thinking about how they were insulting the Amerindians. They were trying to amp up the crowd and the team because in the old days that is what fans cheering in the stadium was all about. Context matters.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the context of native groups repeatedly asking them to stop?
ReplyDeleteStop using Ben Shapiro's catchphrases. You're not as smart as him.
Wrong again 10:53.
ReplyDeleteNFL panicked when fans quit watching games because of Kaperdicks kneeling and other radicals disrespecting the national anthem and flag.
TV revenues declined. Owners made players stand and Kaperdick was boycotted by the owners.
Who is Ben Shapiro?
ReplyDeleteYeah, don't make waves. We need to continue to make Clark Hunt (who never had to really work a day in his life) wealthier.
ReplyDeleteRidiculous parking lot fees-
Way overpriced food and drink-
Way overpriced tickets-
Buy our NFL clothing at 4 times value-
Pay for my stadium so I can pay Homeboy 1/2 billion bucks-
I love my fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clark H.
The Chiefs should stay in front of this name change thing, The writing is on the wàll.
ReplyDeleteI tried to boycott the NFL in 17, 18, & 19. But I was weak añd watched some games in the 18-19 season. More power to those who don't watch. I tried.
@11:22AM and yet the NFL set ratings records in 2019, 2018, and 2017. Not one word out your lying cocksucking mouth is true. Weird.
ReplyDeleteGame viewership went down when the kneeling started. That's the only reason the owners started pushing against it. It will hurt them again because the kneeling doesn't address the 7,000 black-on-black murders every year. That's a fact, jack.
ReplyDelete^^and yet it NEVER EVER went down any discernible amount. Totally weird.
ReplyDelete12:37 - You are a complete fool and nothing you post is factual or accurate.
ReplyDeleteYou are also 60+ trying to pretend your a millenial which is perverted.
Typical Communist in that you lie about everything just like the Communist News Network (CNN).
NFL ratings declined when Kaperdick and friends disrespected the national anthem and he never played football again either.
^^and yet the ratings never, ever, went down. You know Boomer you could Google it. Retarded Boomer. Weird.
ReplyDeleteMcHolmes can save the day. With 500 million , he can pay them off. Why should the taxpayers pay any more than we do ? Weird
ReplyDelete^^because we voted to dummy. Weird.
ReplyDeleteno one offended by "chiefs" that just like "general" or "leader" or something. l ike someone said above its way different than 'redskin'. Cleveland "indians" would seem in trouble too, and that mascot.... but it is "indiana" so ....
ReplyDeleteit must be hard to find a native american to be offended by all this. there aren't too many of them, is the reality. reality is we all, all of us, black, white, liberal, conservative, rich, poor, etc., all of us, all of our heritage is this sovereign nation that displaced the native peoples. and no false sentimentality now is going to change that accomplished fact. the whole "I'm 2% native american" thing a lot of people say is really silly and false. let's look at KCK for example. the last full blooded Wyandotte died in the 1820s. those who run the former mason-temple casino are whites who descend from whites who were relatives of the whites who were adopted into the tribe. the 'real' wyandots if there are any, very intermixed with whites, are in reservations in OKla.
all of us are going to enroll in medicare at 65, and collect social security, and our stimulus checks, etc etc., even those who claim to hate the history of the United States dispossessing the native tribes.
I dare them to remove the hot babe riding the horse!

ReplyDeletedo Indians ever think where they'd be without the "evil" White settlers?
living in TeePees..hunting with bow and arrows..raiding each others villages..
1545-Thats all pretty much true. But it won't matter, given today's culture of microagressions and being offended.
ReplyDeleteI predict that there will be a loud cry that the Chiefs will need to change their name. I hope I'm wrong. I just think the writing is on the wall and the Chiefs should change their name soon.
WhT about CEO,COO Chief of police, Chief petty officer?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of any of those titles offending anyone...yet. Sports team names seem to set people off.
ReplyDeleteThe Redskins have removed their offensive name, I figure it's just a matter of time before there's an outcry for the Chiefs need to change their name to something less offensive. It was my thought that the Chiefs may wish to voluntarily change their name now, instead of being forced to later.
Change the name to Chefs, they're dumbing down all the English grammar and spelling these days anyway.
