Kansas City Blogger: Jesus Was Not White

This should be a huge shocker to move folks who know anything about history, geography or the role that "suspension of disbelief" plays in any good movie.

BUT . . . This town's most prolific author on the topic of faith and morals recently examined the politics surrounding the historical Jesus.

No, he was Jesus of Nazareth, not Natchez

When the rallies, protests and other reactions to the George Floyd murder (well, that and similar outrages) began, I figured it was only a matter of time before someone would -- again -- raise the question of why so many...

Maybe Jesus wasn’t white. But for sure he never went looting and destroying property either. I doubt he ever shot an innocent 4 year old child, or anybody else.

Jesus actually knew his father and honoured him.

How can someone mention their opinion of skin color when he/she wasn't around at the time of Christ?

Bill can be trusted to find some way to attack Christ. He follows the line of the KCAC all down the line.

Religious art around the world depicts Jesus as native to their Locale. Are these all the product of a local racial superiority movement? No, it began as a way to communicate about Jesus to people who could not read. It continues because as a human being and God, we see Jesus as one of us. No one knows what a Nazarean from 2000 years ago looked like, So religious artists should be free to depict Jesus in any way they see him or which they wish to present him to their audience. There’s no fool like an old liberal fool, Bill.

Why does god kill babies inside their mothers?
Why does god bless babies with birth defects?
Answer: 'Cause "he" loves them!

Who cares, it has always been....whites have a white jesus, blacks a black jesus, latinos a latino jesus, orientals a oriental jesus.

This is just another DNC jew media issue designed to foment racial divide.

@8:56 - Jews and Muslims are all Semites, can't tell one from the other with their pants on! (Hope you get that, dumbass!)

You want "blasphemy"? Try looking at the Trinity, then at the Catholic concept of "Sainthood", then re-read the Commandment about "having no other Gods before me"!

Jesus' whole message was that he was a "Messenger", not a God!
The Bible's YOUR Book, try reading it!

COMPARE AND CONTRAST

"..it was only a matter of time before someone would -- again -- raise the question of why so many American Christians think of Jesus as a white man."

versus

"..it was only a matter of time before someone would -- again -- raise the question of why so many Kansas City residents think of Bill Tammeus as a heterosexual."

The old Catholic way of one gaining title of a saint was during ones lifetime three verifiable miracles had to have happened - then saint was added to the persons name to go down in history.

I'm sort of a skeptic when it's time to gain title of sainthood these days - seems it's too easy.

Jesus was short, brown-skinned and had brown eyes and black hair - you're thinking of Jeffrey Hunter in that Movie!

Most theologians realize he may not have actually existed.

But, they argue that that doesn't matter.

Only his teachings matter.

However, I heard a radio minister say that Christians should ignore what Jesus said because he was a Jew. They should follow the teachings of Paul because "he was the First Christian".

That's a lot of nonsense just so you can feel good about hating gays.

7:20 Does it hurt to be that dumb?

Jesus was from the lineage of David. So he was Jewish. But also God. Mary was also Jewish and she looks nothing like the Catholic images or statues of her. Mary was human, so she died and her bones are someplace in the ground in Israel. She never heard of the catholic church which started 600 years after her death, She cant hear anyone's prayers and she cannot help you in any way. She had sex and had other children. She was only a virgin for a little while, like most women. She is no holier than any other woman. I wish people would stop worshipping her, she is in her grave. When she is raised from the dead on judgement day she will be PISSED that people prayed to her!
