KANSAS CITY ACTIVISTS IMPOSE BAN ON KCTV5 FOLLOWING PROTEST COVERAGE!!!

Just as many conservatives argue against media bias, here's activists pushing back against their media portrayal . . .

Can we get a big F--k You out to the protestors and a big congrats to KC channel 5 and the OP Police for handing the way this should be handled. Why do we even give tjese children the time of day ? Let alone a chance to try and explain their childish behavior ?

Next time use a fat Karen to fight the cops and she'll get on TV !

When you have to say “peaceful” every time you say protest; it means most are not peaceful.

Overland Park Police Rock !

The black man arrested can blame his wife (and his own lack of self control) for the situation. Watch the body cam footage. She repeatedly ignores the lawful order to get out of the street and return to the sidewalk, and eventually gets herself handcuffed. The officers were nice enough to show concern that she might break her phone and release her arm to let her put it in her pocket. She starts screaming "Darian (her husband), help me!". Sure enough, numb-nuts comes charging in and knocks the arresting officer down. He gets handcuffed while screaming about "touching his wife", and is charged with assault for for the hit.

It's all on body-cam footage, and unless they drop the charges due to political pressure, it's an open and shut case... not because he's black, or oppressed, or because the OP officers are evil, but because HE'S ON TAPE COMMITTING THE CRIME.

Must destroy the messenger. Shoe on the other foot?

Too bad for Karen and her bootlipped, peaceful, teddy bear, just turning his life around, rap artist/producer "husband". Maybe they should have stuck to the plaza.

Kudos to channel 5!

I fully support the officers! Law and order are not just words. They mean just what they say, and all the screaming, ranting in the world doesn't change the facts.

Channel 5 jus said they will be going through the 19 minutes of body cam footage. No doubt somebody is going to look stupid when the footage is televised. Shame on this mob for playing the race card and trying to pressure channel 5.

So sick of these idiots being coddled. Hope Lick Ass is paying attention to what real law enforcement looks like.

WTF

I'm going to say Darrian has some anger issues. Obviously bum rushed the cops hoping to save her?

Anonymous said...

Thank you kctv 5 for the excellent coverage. Keep up the good reporting.

Mug shots are available to see on the internet so fuck you 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐊𝐂.

Tell your members to not go around shoving the police and they won't get arrested for being stupid.

Body cams are very clear what happened and the Richmonds messed up and got arrested.

Kansas City Community Bail Fund posted the $2500 GPS bail via Lauren Worley.

Funny how a person living at the address posted for Mr Richmond can't come up with a $2500 bail. Bet his employer is happy about this.

Wonder what the Richmonds lily white neighbors all think of this?

Darian just protecting the white piece of trophy ass he has and she is probably the bread winner of those two losers, but you can't knock a cop down without getting charges in Johnson County. I haven't seen the body cam footage but if OPPD is releasing it so quickly then they must be correct. Also I did see her interview and she was lying through her teeth, I hope I get picked for the Jury because if I do it would be a long time befo Darian be tappin that again. And just to clarify the cops were arresting his wife, not touching her.

Well, KCTV 5 really shouldn't have inflamed the situation by posting the picture of the African American male. There was no reason to state his race. They did it because they are anti-black. They should be boycotted. Let their sponsors know you aren't buying their products because they advertise with a racist TV station. #BLM #MAGA

9:45, FTW! Oh, and Byron, your stupidity reaches new depths; you posted conflicting opinions on the same thread. Even arguing with yourself now?

As with everything else these days, these idiots recorded the entire protest and made it available for all to see. Yet they continue to make claims which contradict what their own recording clearly shows.

Watch it here.

For those who can't spare two hours, or those who can't stay awake through that much of this snoozefest, here are the highlights.

The protest begins in front of Johnson County Community College. Unable to get any confrontations there, the group moves down Quivira and into a residential neighborhood looking for one. Finally they get it. Two OPPD officers on bicycles politely ask them to keep on the sidewalk.

Two homeowners object to protesters on their property. The group continues to shout, "No one is on your property!" and, "They are not on private property!" as the homeowners stand and argue with a number of protesters who are clearly on their property. All directly in front of the camera. This is when things begin to get 'violent.'

By violent, I mean the police begin using bullhorns to again politely ask the protesters to keep on the sidewalk. This request is of course ignored so the police begin escalating the violence by informing the group they will be in violation if they do not move to the sidewalk.

Police in 'riot gear' appear and the crowd begins their little chant of, "There's no riot here. Why are you in riot gear?" The riot gear consists of a couple of officers with shielded helmets, with the shields up. The brutality begins as the police calmly and professionally arrest a straggler who will not move off the street. It's a fat attorney. See if you can guess who it is, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! More terror ensues as the police continue to calmly tell the group to stay on the sidewalk. A number of them do not and two additional calm, professional arrests are made. One is the wife of the guy charged with battery. That's when the real horror begins.

A man sprints up to the police and is immediately put down. He's unhurt and is handcuffed and arrested. What he did could barely be considered battery to law enforcement, he hardly got the opportunity, but that's also probably why his bail was only $2,500. Despite screeching, "No, Darrien! No, Darrien, no!" a few moments earlier as the man ran up, the crowd now begins accusing the police of attacking the man. You really need to watch this segment of the video to appreciate how ridiculous the protesters' behavior becomes.

The protesters finally remain on the sidewalk and no further actions are made by the police. A woman starts crying, as in literal tears, and whining about the police being "violent" and "awful" and "not okay" despite them all behaving in a very professional, restrained manner.

Overall, I give the film 1.5 stars out of 10. While it does provoke some emotion, namely anger over the flagrant lies the protesters continue to spew, the overall feeling is one of sadness. Sadness that our country is actually capable of producing pussies such as this group. I've got news for them. That wasn't brutality. It wasn't oppression and it certainly wasn't violence by the police. The only 'violent' content was the man rushing up to attack the police who were calmly arresting his wife. To continually object to this type of treatment and call it police violence or oppression shows just how weak some of us truly have become. But boycott KCTV5 because the protesters acted like children, found there were consequences, and the station reported such.

Byron's split personality commenting again. Then he denies it was him.
I can just see this escalating to where he beats the shit out of himself, then gets charged for abusing the mentally handicapped.

I did not make the comment at 10:04.

I did not make the comment at 11:43.

Obviously, these comments were made by 1:35.

Prohibit after sunset protesting. Serves no purpose except criminal behaviors.

Prohibit protesting in neighborhoods. Serves no purpose. Neighborhoods are essentially private areas for families, children, bikes and automobiles. A bad response will be provoked eventually.

If you notice there is no intellectual component to these protestors, mainly raw emotion, taunting and provoking for the purpose of capturing manipulated responses on video.

These children have exposed themsekves for who they are.

1:35, one of the jokes in the Real Funkhouser Family was how Gloria Squitiro imagined that she was the head of the family (I use the past tense because my family of origin no longer exists, ironically our parents killed it.) She actually believes she "disowned" my father & mother.

One of my stalkers claims that my family disowned them, & then strangely refers to my family as the Mark Funkhouser Family. Here's the truth: Everyone in the Real Funkhouser Family disowned the Squitiro's a long time ago, they were just too narcissistic to notice. Only our sister has anything to do with them. When asked why she puts up with Gloria, she answers that she wants to have a relationship with her brother. I have no idea why.

I guess because she was a girl, he never beat her up, so he never seemed so bad to her.

Byron, please let us know the other places where you post. Seeing as how you live so far away, we can only assume your opinions must be sought on other venues.

Oh, I see. No one else will print your libtard musings. How sad that must be for you.

We do thank you, however, for supporting the OP police in this instance.

What's it like to be afraid to use your real name, because you might be held accountable for what you say?

You're just another stalking pussy.

Byron, if after watching the video from 1:31 is it unreasonable to say that some of these groups protesting is little more than provocation of authority?

The truth about these "encounters" with the police will become more and more apparent to the public as more departments get and use body cameras.
In fact, body cameras will turn out to be the worst nightmare for the very "activists" and rioters who are pushing so hard for them.
People breaking the law, destroying other people's property, looting, arson, attacking police officers, and resisting arrest may be fine for cowards and apologists like Lucas and others, but that behavior isn't OK for most of the public.
There's such a thing as civil behavior and the great majority of the public understand and respect others around them.
The Channel 5 video and story are just the beginning.

Anonymous said...

Not a supporter of the protestors, but I stopped watching Channel 5 when they abandoned Kansas City and left town.

Don't see any reason to care what an out-of-town station says.

Wanna see accountability Byron, come to KC, we have paper for you to read while sitting in jail.
