Demand for mail ballots surges in Johnson County

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Ahead of Tuesday's deadline to register to vote in next month's primary, voters in Johnson County appear ready to vote. Connie Schmidt, Johnson County Election Commissioner, said the county has received nearly 90,000 applications to vote by mail in the Aug. 4 primary.

  4. We will soon find out how many “Dead Cats” are in Johnson County.
    Sending this application is just a waste of money as this has always been available upon request, but now it’s being sent out to every registered voter. We all know the list of Registered Voters is wrong. We used to receive voting information on my oldest daughter for years after she had been married and living in other states! We need our elected officials to be legitimate winners.
