The "necessary conversations" continue in KCMO, mostly a great many people still don't have a job . . . Accordingly . . .
Here's a quick check back regarding local commentary on this ongoing community effort:
"If Kansas city's corporate and legal leaders were serious about equality they would voluntarily repay the subsidies--received in the form of taxpayer financing and artificially low property values--for the betterment of all . . ."

Keep talking so they can grab the money and run back to JoCo.
ReplyDeleteThey protect and promote the most regressive tax system in the nation. If they want change then they should urge and demand the Chiefs and Royals to buy the stadiums.
ReplyDeleteThe inventors and creative class in the entire world is predominately white due to intelligence. The sooner the browns relize and accept that the better off they will be. Get a job, behave and live life.
ReplyDeletecorrupt elites.
ReplyDeletethey'll co-opt the situation to come out ahead, regardless of what happens to the victims.
awaiting a poll with the question, "do you have confidence in american institutions?"
ReplyDeleteStructural Racism. Yeah, that must be it. Not the number of wage earners living in the same household. Not the lack of motivation to get promoted, or even keep the same job.

ReplyDeleteMaHomes receives an unbelievable multi million dollar contract, from a
multi-millionaire who inherited his money, and whose stadium, in a small
secondary market, is paid for by Jackson County denizens (suckers), who are
absolutely taken for granted by the Jackson County politicians, who just
raised real estate taxes on low and no income folks, who are expected to
always re-elect the same assholes over and over. AND THEY DO!!!! BUT GUESS
WHAT???? THEY GET FIRST CHANCE TO BUY OVERPRICED SEASON TICKETS. AIN'T
THAT JUST PEACHY?
^^Sure is asshole! I got mine. Too bad you're a broke bitch, you could've got some too, but then you would have to find some people to go with. Everybody hates you cause of dumb shit like this.
ReplyDelete1:11 easy to call someone you disagree with names. It's harder to debate the issues. Tell us what part of 11:53's comments you disagree with. Do you think the poor should pay taxes so that Clark Hunt and Patrick Mahomes can get richer? So that Burns and Mac can make a higher profit? So that developers can build a hotel that will be in bankruptcy in a couple of years? Tell us why these are good ideas?
ReplyDelete1:17 - of course 1:11 thinks we should make a few Rich while he lies in his own waste. He can't think for himself. Nor can he achieve anything beyond name calling on this blog.
ReplyDeleteStructural Racism is code for capitalism ... the same thing that allows Mahomes to make $400,000,000.00. Don't hate.
ReplyDeleteQuarterback-$400,000,000 = obscene. KC (Rome) is burning!
ReplyDelete^ Nope, the Hunt family is betting on making $400,000,001 dollars off Mahomes. Don't complain when you spend $60 to park at the stadium, $15 for a soda and $120 for a Mahomes jersey or when taxpayer money is spend on the parade route for the champions to drink themselves silly (not you, the players).
ReplyDeleteHmmm give tax breaks to business creating jobs and tax revenue..or...continue the generational expanding dependency to a subrace that has no ambition except to emulate its thug culture.
ReplyDeleteEasy choice unless you need to pander for votes.
