Fact Check: Kansas City Freebie Bus Quickly Turning To Garbage Amid Pandemic

A reminder that locals wanted BETTER SERVICE NOT FREE RIDES . . . Here's a political stunt collapsing amid the pressure of coronavirus:

Ride KC passengers getting frustrated with reduced routes, lack of seats on city buses

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Thousands of people rely on the city's bus system to get to and from work. But that's become difficult for many. The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority has reduced routes and made other changes because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It's made catching the bus tricky for some riders.

The 25 million anally tourists will be so very upset and inconvenienced that they will probably never return and KCMO's momentum will be greatly diminished.

Well, looks like we're going to have to make a decision - either provide mobile housing for the homeless or provide bus service for the residents.

Doesn't look like we're going to be able to provide both - heck, City Hall isn't sure it's going to be able to meet both the "Bike Lane Welfare" and "Real Estate Developer Welfare" commitments we already have in place.
