EXECUTIVE FRANK WHITE SADDENED LEGISLATURE WILL NOT SAY: 'BLACK LIVES MATTER' IN JACKSON COUNTY!!!

More deets and money line from the Exec's recent memo . . .

“I am saddened to say,” he writes,” in the days, weeks, and months that have followed the tragic murder of George Floyd, the Jackson County Legislature has not acted courageously. In fact, there has not even been a resolution of the Legislature condemning the horrific murder of George Floyd, nor a statement saying that Black Lives Matter in Jackson County.”

Here's his statement and links to dox . . .

Jackson County Executive vetoes statue ordinance

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr. today has issued a veto of Ordinance 5374.

Last week, the County Legislature voted 7-2 in favor of the Ordinance, which proposes a question to voters on the November general election ballot authorizing the removal of Andrew Jackson statues located at the Jackson County Courthouse in Kansas City and the Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence.

“I am hopeful that the passage of time has provided an opportunity for members of our Legislature to reflect on their vote and act differently,” said Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr. “However, I am vetoing this Ordinance, not just in the hopes that Legislators will reconsider their position, but also to allow them the individual opportunity to take a clear position and directly tell the residents of our community if they believe the statues should be taken down or not.

Additionally, I would like to commend the courageous actions of Legislators Jalen Anderson and Ron Finley, the two dissenting votes of the Ordinance, who have passionately voiced their commitment to fairness, justice and equality in Jackson County.”

Since the County Executive’s call for removal of the two statues on June 25, leaders across the country have taken swift action to acknowledge and immediately remove hurtful images of the past, including the State of Mississippi, the NFL team in Washington, D.C. and NASCAR. The demand for change is in response to the tragic murder of George Floyd, which reignited dialogue about the nation’s legacy of racism and oppression, as well as the Black Lives Matter movement.

County Executive White’s full veto message of Ordinance 5374 is attached.

  1. The legislature has bigger problems than this ahead of them. Especially when the tax bills go out.

    The distraction might work.

  3. When is Black Lives Matter going to stop ignoring the epidemic of black on black killings in this country?

If America is so inherently racist as Dems and the media would lead everyone to believe why are millions of people literally risking their lives trying to get here?

Can any of you simp libs answer the above two questions?

  4. ^^Why don't you have any friends you can ask this shit too? Why are you on here? Calling someone a simp lib isn't doing you any favors CHUD. Go watch Matlock. OK Boomer?

  5. Yes frank black lives matter. More than a slogan? That’s up to you. Why is the county hoarding it’s CARES Act disbursements, stiffing KCMO, refusing to even pay 11million for KC MO health dept costs? Do blacks live in KCMO Frank? Do their lives matter? Up to you. It’s a grounder up the middle frank is it gonna roll between your legs into the outfield??

  6. Frank White was and continues to be far over his head and abilities in his present role. The mindless voters of JaCoMo were willing to elect him based on his athletic ties to the area rather than his resume. Rather than admit the job is beyond his abilities, it’s easier to cry racism and try to garner some pity support. George Brett was one of the greatest Royals ever, but I wouldn’t hire him if I needed a dentist.

  7. Frankie boy does not seem to understand that his constituents are Black, White, Hispanic, Asian and Others. To declare Black Lives Matter says to many of them "We Don't Matter to You Mr. County Executive" but come the next election you'll have to find another job because you don't matter to us. And that can't happen soon enough.

  8. ^^^ nobody matters to Frankie boy, it’s glaringly apparent

  9. George Floyd was not murdered. He died while resisting arrest, while he was under the influence of illegal drugs. He caused his own death.

  10. There can't be a bigger loser than 10:55 other than the Cleveland Browns.

Spends all day insulting people without a constructive comment.

Day in and day out that is how he spends each and every day.

Sign of someone with very low self-esteem.

  12. Frank is like many of out local politicians who think only the black population matters, just because they are the most vocal doesn’t mean you can abdicate your responsibilities to the entire population of the city and counties! It offends me that apparently ONLY black lives matter to You!!

Great baseball player in his time. Shitty county executive. Lousy at paying his taxes.

  16. Didn't the county have to hire a white guy and pay him $220K to do the job this White guy was elected to do but couldn't get done?

  17. Frank White was the beneficiary of a generous white man named Mr. Ewing Kauffman.

In fact, Mr. Kauffman's baseball academy developed Frank White into a professional baseball player.

However, Frank White hates white people. Sad.

Blames Andrew Jackson's statue for murdering African Americans in Kansas City.

  21. So Frank White is against letting the voters decide? Well, he was against just about everybody except his friends when it came to property tax assessments last year. While most people got a huge tax increase, Frank's buddy lawyer had his mansion undervalued. You know, the guy who gifted Frank the money to avoid foreclosure. That's what bribes are called now, gifts. At this point, I don't give a crap about Andrew Jackson's statue. I have started finding the one at The K of Frank pretty hard to look it. It reminds me of when I enjoyed watching him play. Now I can't stand hearing what he has to say because he has turned into just another corrupt and incompetent politician. I think he's worse than most probably.

  22. I’m disappointed that Frank White doesn’t know or care about WHO BLM is? A Marxist/racist insurrectionist group that admits they are NOT about co-existing with whites and Intend to destroy the United States Gov’t and create a new one.
