  1. Good, it was offensive and needs to be put in the junk pile with all the other worthless statues and plaques, after all, who needs history!

  2. I think they should leave it as a warning.

  3. What? There was never a lynching in Kansas City in the 1800's or ever. There was never anyone named Levi Harrington. I agree take this down it's an urban legend.

  4. There should be frequent lynchings in Kansas City. Like 5 or 6 every day.

  5. Don't leave the plaque in Case Park, move it to 18th & Vine, where is can serve an educational purpose until it's stolen and sold for scrap.

  6. ^^^ or even better, shot full of holes! 18th and vine would be perfect! Let’s make it happen!

  7. Why does this matter. They’re tearing down every statue and plaque all over the country so this should be too. Buh and bye!

They just showed removal of the plaque on the news. No word yet on what they'll do with it.

  9. What’s fair for the goose is fair for the gander. Just as the first 10:17 says, if we’re trying to wipe out everything historical that might offend or upset someone, this plaque has to go into storage or garbage just like all the other statues, monuments, etc.
