Long-awaited justice won't happen today given this last minute legal move . . . Take a look:
Judge halts execution of man convicted of gruesome Kansas City murder because he has dementia
A jury decided he should be put to death in the killing of 16-year-old Jennifer Long in Kansas City, Missouri. But in a 1986 decision, the Supreme Court ruled the Constitution prohibits executing someone who can't understand why they are being executed.
Moral: fast track the expensive appeals process so murderers can be executed while they can still remember what they did.
ReplyDeleteAnother white male murderer. They are always the original plague on humanity.
ReplyDeleteOh he had plenty of time to know what he was dying for. He hasn't had dementia all his life. "there’s no question he’d suffer “irreparable harm” said the Judge.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the harm he committed on a 16 year old girl?
