Pastor accused of sexually abusing minor while assigned to Liberty parish
LIBERTY, MO (KCTV) - On Friday, the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph released a "Notice of Credible Allegation of Abuse" that happened when a pastor was assigned to a Liberty parish. Father Alan Hartway is accused of sexually abusing a minor while he was an associate pastor at St. James Parish.

How many more abuser priests will have to be exposed before even the most observant Catholic realizes their particular brand of "secret sauce" is fatally flawed? At this point, with everything that has been exposed about abuser priests and the church that hides them, anyone still giving to the Catholic church is signaling their approval of these actions.

ReplyDeleteI knew two priests that were reported or told on, whatever you want to call it. Eventually both were defrocked and one went to prison.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't of suspected either one of those guys back then but maybe I wasn't in the vulnerable position some kids apparently get in to.
We need to just develop a Federal Task force to take these guy to GITMO prison in Cuba and let them rot with the Taliban - in the same cells. and give the taliban knives.

ReplyDeleteEvidence Catholics knew their kids were being RAPED and turned a blind eye. Parents should be charged along with the Priests. They are just as guilty!
