Why Prominent Groups In Kansas City Are Calling For The Police Chief's Resignation

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Kansas City is joining the Indian Mound Neighborhood Association, the Urban League of Greater Kansas City, the editorial board of the Kansas City Star, and others in calling for Chief Rick Smith's resignation.

  1. They do NOT represent the mainstream public sentiment in Kansas City, they are all fringe opinions!

  2. The transparency and accountability are much improved. Smith is making the changes that were requested. My 2c.

  3. Percentages quoted with no actual numbers. You can spin anything by omitting root source and context.

Daily dose of unnecessary race conversation.
There is and will always be racism, but nowhere near the scope hysterically portrayed by those who profit most from it.

All bullshit and bad for ya.

  4. "Prominent?" I don't think you know the meaning of the word. Blacks enjoy minority privilege for a very specific reason. They are in the minority. Tail wagging the dog.

  5. Listened to the one sided conversation.
Anyone ever notice how foggy brained these people sound when all they do is parrot worn out request for exceptions and considerations not afforded the general working class citizens.

These SJWs don't get the fact that the police aren't dealing with upstanding citizens, most encounters are with violent criminals, you know, the ones the Black community hides and protects from the police.
So this could explains some of the reason for a low clearance rate (if true) of unsolved murders. Silence is Violence.

The rest of these claims are getting tiresome, rinse and repeat, over and over and over again. Most media DAILY dedicate a disproportionate amout of their air time to this brainwashing. No wonder so much artificially conjured unrest.

  6. 1:52. When you get down to the numbers in proportion to the total population, the protesters/rioters represent only a few hairs on the tail wagging the dog.

Media and political interests amplify the optics to monumental proportions.
IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT THE TAIL CAN ONLY WAG THE DOG SO LONG AS THE THE DOG PERMITS IT.

  7. When African American leaders can't or won't solve criminal activities in their own neighborhoods, they need to scapegoat or blame other. Cheif Smith is simply the latest and easiest target. Support Cheif Smith from the failures of others.

  8. A white police chief is under attack, could it be racially motivated? Could a bear possibly shit in the woods? Does Byron jerk off to KCUR?
    Unanimous!

  9. KC MO Police Chief Rick Smith is a racist...

  10. Small mind. Drink the (grape) KoolAid.

  11. When this is what passes for "leadership" in the black community, it's not too difficult to see why many aspects of life on KCMO's east side are going backwards.
Wallowing in the memories of the 1960s and constant repetition of tired old slogans and tropes, all the while totally ignoring the black-on-black carnage that is taking place almost daily in 2020.
    Willful ignorance.
    And uninformed clueless demands.
You would think that folks who are so irrelevant would at least not make public comments to point that out to everyone else.
    Sad.

  14. Here are a few questions I have not ever seen addressed in any blog or social media in the past two months....
Who is the president or CEO of Black Lives Matter? How much is that person making off of this organization? Who is making spending decisions?
Is this organization tax exempt as a 501 (c)3 organization? How much do they make off of BLM merchandise? Is that merchandise made in the USA, if not, how did they get it from overseas so quickly to move it all over the USA? Who gets all of the hundreds of millions of dollars from the "donations" corporations are paying for BLM protection and are they tax deductible to the corporations? Speaking of those donations, could they not be used to better provide living wages for employees or healthcare?
How many mayors are on the payroll of BLM? Mayor McKneely, is he on the list like mayor lightfoot and the mayor of Portland? How about Pelosi and Schumer? How many FAKE FAT REVERANDS are on the payroll? Congressmen and women, surely Maxine and Cleaver are! Let's have some transparency....NOW!
I've got a hundred questions like that concerning this organization that is tearing our cities and our country apart.

  15. @ 531 - Those are good questions. With 200 federal investigators in town how about a few of them look into this problem? I'm just sayin my question I'd add is where is the FBI in this matter?

Based on that article from YAWN FM, it sounds like a whole lot of people are stuck on stupid!

  18. Most of the crimes happen in a specific area. He's a white man trying to solve problems in a black city. Have the good black leaders set up their own police force that operates in the crime-ridden area. Keep white cops out. Crime should drop - right?

Ho dare you say crimes are concentrated in specific areas! Are you trying to give the inner city run by Democrats for decades a complex and a reason to riot and loot? I mean aside from the mayor....

  20. The IM Neighborhood Association might want to be careful... IF it has non-profit status it's not allowed to engage in politics. Their current bs is politics.
