TKC MUST READ!!! OPEN LETTER TO GREATER KANSAS CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HONCHO JOE REARDON CHALLENGES RECORD ON EQUALITY!!!

Over the weekend we talked about the Greater KC Chamber honcho touting injustice & inequality amid civil unrest . . .

Even better, here's a response from our blog community that's worth a peek . . .

"Reardon at his colleagues at the Chamber have been advocating for unequal prosperity for years in the form of development subsidies and tax cutouts and loopholes. Oftentimes, subsidies for corporate headquarters such as Burns & Mac, Cerner, JE Dunn and H&R Block come at a cost to the Kansas City Public School District--90% of whose students qualify for free and reduced lunch programs.

"If Kansas city's corporate and legal leaders were serious about equality they would voluntarily repay the subsidies--received in the form of taxpayer financing and artificially low property values--for the betterment of all Kansas city's. This includes the parent company of the Star."

You decide . . .
