TKC FRIDAY FACE-OFF!!! JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR CONDEMNS KCPD AMID INDICTMENT!!! WILL TOP COP SMITH SURVIVE ATTACKS FROM MEAN JEAN?!?!
As usual, TKC is forced to break the news whilst other "journalists" merely parrot whatever press release copy they've been tossed.
Meanwhile, the rest of you d-bags don't realize that social media has shadow-banned most boomers, delightful crackpots and everyone else who isn't serving the algorithm . . . But I digress.
A recent indictment is mostly political theater and probably won't help the dead guy or his grieving family.
What's more important for voters, denizens of the discourse and our community of scumbags is the political drama at the crux of the current deadly police shooting debate.
In a nutshell . . .
ATTACKS TARGETING POLICE FROM THE JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR AND MISSOURI DEMOCRATIC PARTY LEADER FIT 2020 CAMPAIGN BRANDING PERFECTLY!!!
To be fair . . .
We assume that the intentions of the Jackson County Prosecutor are pure and she's merely doing her courthouse job. Even whilst serving as Missouri Democratic Party Chair, Jean Peters Baker is not at all influenced by her political mission amid a red state election wherein the stakes are high and, if handled properly, the super-minority could make significant gains and take back the Governor's mansion. However, as objective observers suspend disbelief like they were members of fake crowds at sporting events during the pandemic, there is simply no denying the progressive anti-police messaging of the prosecutor is not just opportune but demonstrates a synchronicity so impeccable that, if not planned, should inspire the po-po to start buying lottery tickets given their luck.
Put simply in a less clunky but not quite as fun sentence . . .
Mean Jean waging political war against KCPD lines up perfectly with Democratic Party talking points on police reform. It might not be planned but to deny it is to be willfully naive.
And all of that brings us to a war of words betwixt prosecutor vs. police . . .
The premise . . .
Fox4: Jackson County prosecutor says KCPD asked her not to prosecute detective to help morale
Even better, this exchange should have been the headline and offers a scary preview of this EPIC cowtown clash of the titans. We've highlighted the most important part . . . Checkit:
Jean Peters Baker said she was stonewalled by police in her office’s early efforts to find out more about the case.
She said she requested a probable cause statement in February, two months after Lamb’s death. But she was told by the police department her actions could greatly hurt morale.
“Trust me when I say I wanted to stand at a podium in February, but I couldn’t do that because police simply refused to give me a probable cause statement in this case,” Peters Baker said.
“What I have learned over the past several months is how little influence or reason I hold over that department.”
In a press conference critical of police’s handling of the situation, Peters Baker said she received warnings not to prosecute.
“Warnings have come specifically against me to frankly discourage me from bringing charges in this manner. Here’s what you need to know, those types of statements, warnings, threats have been made to this office,” she said.
“I’ve heard it before, and this is not the first high profile case that I’ve handled. Those threats didn’t work then, and they won’t work now,” she continued.
Get it? Forgive our course reference but this cowtown police debate offers a perfect microcosm of the American argument over law enforcement even if our polite local media want to bury their power play even more subtly and tastefully than hottie news anchor cleavage.
In the final analysis . . .
THE JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR CLAIMS SHE HAS BEEN 'WARNED' AND COERCED BY POLICE!!! IN THIS EPIC FACE-OFF SOMEBODY HAS TO LOSE: WILL IT BE MEAN JEAN OR THE TOP COP?!?
The prosecutor is politically savvy, highly skilled and unafraid to wage a war of words but she's playing for high stakes and could incur outside opposition sparked by her decidedly anti-police rhetoric. Meanwhile, the Chief has never been a dynamic force within his department but instead his methodical and calculated style are indicative of the tremendous authority he wields . . . For now.
Meanwhile, the local homicide count continues to spike at the outset of Summer and the level of discourse and intensifying political theater seems to have little, if any, impact on the bloodbath taking place on Kansas City streets.
Developing . . .
Election season 2020 here we go.
ReplyDeleteLooks like we're all getting ready to lose big.
Jean has support all the way from D.C., right now the Chief doesn't seem to have that kind of power. Too bad, as a manager he is one of the best leading KCPD in years.
Delete100 murders by the end of the Summer if they end up taking him down. Not that anybody cares. But The Chief is actually very well liked within his department.
Delete^^^
ReplyDelete+100
Too bad, this could have been a moment where everybody united against such an awful killing. Turned out to be nothing but another pathway to fighting and hatred.
ReplyDeleteThat shooting was justified. This is a political game shes playing. Remember, she has a Republican challenger. Vote her out.
ReplyDeleteThe shooting was not justified. That’s why the Grand Jury indicted. Just like there has been times the Grand Jury has not indicted.
DeleteGrand Juries dont mean dick.
DeleteA grand jury will indict a ham sandwich.
Peters-Baker is an incompetent prosecutor and a political hack of the very worst kind.
ReplyDeleteIf residents of KCMO think that having someone like her and the worthless unaccountable "nonprofit" organizations "demanding" the chief be fired running their police department by intimidation of the cowardly KCMO electeds, they will find the city becoming a dystopia even more quickly than it already is.
The safety of the public and the justice system are really terrible elements of civil society to play politics in.
And the local "leaders" have shown what sheep they are by joining the mindless stampede of the most recent national trend.
And over the cliff they all go.
Sadly, taking much of what's left of KCMO with them.
We saw a spoiled kids reaction to not getting what she wanted when she wanted it. What’s her motive in the timing of this indictment? Shameless how the Counties top Attorney desires this to be out in the 6 PM News.... She said many times she is waiting for the Probable Cause statement from the Police but all she gets is threats. Why hasn’t she attempted an indictment before all the craziness started? Ms Peters seems to be playing a game of gotcha with the KCMO Police Department, just like spoiled little kid that didn’t get to do what she wanted when she wanted it. Looks like there is a Deep State problem in City Hall too.
ReplyDeleteGrand Jury's can be a joke as I am sure this one was. Mean Jean can play the jury to give her what she wants. See it's all a bunch of secret stuff that the public never ever is suppose to hear about as they are all sworn to secrecy. Now Mean Jean will political play this till election time and not take it to trial where she would lose but for now she will be claiming it's a feather in her hat of getting justice for the people. Jean is a sham and Jean needs to be voted out.
ReplyDeleteGo vote her out, Stupor Duck!
DeleteOH WAIT YOU CAN'T.
Shut up instead.
There is a saying that a prosecutor (even one as incompetent as Mean Jean) can indict a ham sandwich. Jean’s problem is she can’t convict one. And she shouldn’t be able to convict this police detective, given the shooting was justified. Jean is grandstanding for her election and her political position, nothing more, and actually a lot less. She’s the worst prosecutor KC has had in decades and needs to be voted out of office. Hopefully a jury will understand evidence better than this grand jury did, and will acquit the detective... and Jean will be handed her walking papers.
ReplyDeleteShooting was not justified. The civil case is all that matters anyway. City will pay on this one.
DeleteIf you actually lived in Jackson County your li'l rant might mean something, Stupor Duck.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's "juries."
Just like Tony, who tries to pontificate about news the others break ("As usual, TKC is forced to break the news..." - HA!) and fails miserably in a shitpile of hack cliches strung together.
Since Super Dave knows more about KC and Jackson County than most commenters, his opinions are welcome here. If you don’t take it, take off.
DeleteShe's the reason Kansas City is such a festering shithole. Fucking let's everyone walk and if they get something it's not much more than a slap on the wrist. Her timing is not fooling anyone. Vote this wicked woman out.
ReplyDeleteThe prosecutor by her own words is linked up with the a St. Louis Prosecutor and look at what some of the St. Louis Prosecutors have done to the St. Louis area Law Enforcement through Prosecutor organized activism!
ReplyDeleteUnder the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, a police officer may use deadly force to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect only if the officer has a good-faith belief that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others.
ReplyDeleteFuck Off 6:59 what a weak no nothing comment. Okay simple spelling error even spell check won't catch you asshole. In fact you jerk I see it spelled that way a lot and here is a sentence right form a law book, "It's then the jury's duty to gather together, discuss the evidence, and, once the necessary consensus is reached, render a verdict of guilty or not guilty in a given case."
Felon not suspect:. He had not committed a felony and they had no reason to believe he was armed or a danger while fleeing. The shooting was not justified.
DeleteIf the police version of hot pursuit and Lamb waving a gun holds up, the shooting will be justified. What then...riots in the streets.
ReplyDeleteThe big 180: prosecutorial immunity is now being turned AGAINST the police.
As Tony points out, the timing is too politically perfect. Cops see that the courts no longer have their backs. Like citizens, they too can be framed by prosecutors or coerced into plea bargains by the threat of long prison terms due to bogus piled-on charges.
You can be armed in your own back yard. You are only hearing the officers account of waving a gun. Shooting was not justified.
Delete"The prosecutor is politically savvy, highly skilled and unafraid"
ReplyDeleteHahaha
Tony where you able to keep a straight face when making that line up?
Oh crap I made a spelling error in my comment at 7:14. Oh hell that means 6:59 will call me stupid dumb and other retarded things. Eat shit and die fool, we're not handing in term papers.
ReplyDeleteJust post a link and stop wasting our time with meaningless babble.
ReplyDeleteHave to pass along a text message I just got about this event.I found it rather funny.
ReplyDeleteHey Dave maybe we should see about Defunding Mean Jean.
Hey Dave did you get my text?
Delete"chuck is lonely in hell, go join him"
cause you didn't respond
@ Dave LOLZ
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect this dumb broad went to the worst college's in the United States.
ReplyDeleteEver see the movie "Escape from Manhattan"? They are doing a remake - "Wall off Kansas City".
ReplyDeleteBlock it all off and let 'em all destroy each other and the city in a shot, instead of doing it on a slow boil the way MeanJean and her Democratic sidekicks have been doing for years...
I saw the movie "Escape from New York," shithead. Was "Escape from Manhattan" a My Little Pony cartoon or something?
Delete7:03 + 100000000000000
ReplyDeleteI’m betting Petersucker is stupid enough to go for the death penalty, she’s that stupid.
ReplyDeleteIf this guy wasn’t white then nothing would have happened, she absolutely hates whitey and the Mexicans, fucking racist bitch.
Involuntary manslaughter is only 3-10 years or so. Get a grip!
DeleteUnskilled is about all that needed to be said. She is a criminals best friend and a typical extreme left radical. She should be held accountable for the majority of murders. It's not like they are first time offenders coming home from knitting class with the purple hairs.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason why Petersucker is head of the dimwit party for Missouri is they only had two choices, her or that equaling as bad prosecutor in St. Louis, she happens to be under investigation for something so naturally they had to go with Petersucker, it’s not like they had a choice or anything.
ReplyDeleteTypical democrap.
ReplyDeleteShe needs to explain why she waived the death penalty in the Brandon Howell murder case.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely got nothing of real value from this post. Next.....
ReplyDelete^^^How you know he can't???
ReplyDeleteYes he did 8:18 and he turned you in for a hate crime he is with the po po right now.
ReplyDeletePoliceman. A Policeman is a composite of what all men are, mingling of a saint and sinner, dust and deity.
ReplyDeleteGulled statistics wave the fan over the stinkers, underscore instances of dishonesty and brutality because they are “new”. What they really mean is that they are exceptional, unusual, not commonplace.
Buried under the frost is the fact: Less than one-half of one percent of policemen misfit the uniform. That’s a better average than you’d find among clergy!
What is a policeman made of? He, of all men, is once the most needed and the most unwanted. He’s a strangely nameless creature who is “sir” to his face and “fuzz” to his back.
He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won. But…If the policeman is neat, he’s conceited; if he’s careless, he’s a bum. If he’s pleasant, he’s flirting;if not, he’s a grouch.
He must make an instant decision which would require months for a lawyer to make.
But…If he hurries, he’s careless; if he’s deliberate, he’s lazy. He must be first to an accident and infallible with his diagnosis. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and, above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp. Or expect to be sued.
The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run, and hit where it doesn’t hurt.He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform and without being “brutal”. If you hit him, he’s a coward. If he hits you, he’s a bully.
A policeman must know everything-and not tell. He must know where all the sin is and not partake.
A policeman must, from a single strand of hair, be able to describe the crime, the weapon and the criminal- and tell you where the criminal is hiding.
But…If he catches the criminal, he’s lucky; if he doesn’t, he’s a dunce. If he gets promoted, he has political pull; if he doesn’t, he’s a dullard. The policeman must chase a bum lead to a dead-end, stake out ten nights to tag one witness who saw it happen-but refused to remember.
The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy and a gentleman.
And, of course, he’d have to be genius….For he will have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.
@8:18AM-Thanks for that. I laughed hard. I needed that. Good one!
ReplyDeleteStupid dave getting run today. Love it!
ReplyDelete8:44 and 8:45 stop answering your own posts, it's childish for starters and it destroys any credibility you may at one time had. Like the Trump haters you can't stand Dave probably because he is more successful than you, smarter than you, and has kick ass hot looking girlfriends. So haul your butt hurt ass on down the road, preferably down the middle of it so a semi can run over you.
ReplyDeleteHe really thinks we can't tell. 'Food for thought' is another favorite way he pretends he has friends lol.
DeleteThat's our Chimpy!!

ReplyDelete(L to R)
"To Protect and Serve" versus "To Pander and Surrender"!!!
Sheriff D. Clarke says it best!
ReplyDeleteIt's not the police who need to be retrained, it's the public. We have grown into a mouthy, mobile phone wielding, vulgar, uncivil society with no personal responsibility and the attitude of 'it's the other person's fault', 'you owe me'. A society where children grow up with no boundaries or knowledge or concern for civil society and personal responsibility.
BTW Sheriff D. Clarke is not a white man.
Police officers are our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters. They're black, white, brown, all colours, all ethnicities, all faiths, male and female, they are us. They see the worst side of humanity... the raped children, the bloody mangled bodies of traffic victims, the bruised and battered victims of domestic violence, homicide victims, body parts... day after day
ReplyDeleteAlright about time for this shit to take place.
ReplyDeletePOTUS said:
Any protesters, anarchists, agitators, looters or lowlifes who are going to Oklahoma please understand, you will not be treated like you have been in New York, Seattle, or Minneapolis. It will be a much different scene!
When did mean Jean become a tranny? She’s always been homely but her new look makes her look like the horse-slapping tranny of KC.
ReplyDeleteThe Stars and Stripes never looked that good. How can all of these purple haired lesbians and soy boys that make up the white contingent of BLM not love their country with images like that on this blog?
ReplyDeleteOh my gawd ! I'm out of fish sticks !!
ReplyDeleteSleepy Joe Biden
Admit the reason blacks have run ins with police is due to their violent culture. FBI statistics are not bigoted, blacks really do commit most of the violent crime in this country. There will be no progress until black communities start calling the cops on the corner drug dealer instead of admiring him. There will be no progress until the leaders of the black communities start calling for change amongst themselves and admitting they are the issue and it's them that needs to clean up their acts and behavior in public along with their lifestyles and parenting skills.
ReplyDeleteNo question, her roles as JaCo Prosecutor and head of the state Democratic Party create a big conflict of interest. In the latter role she has to suck up to racial and grievance groups to get their votes. She does so by hopping onto whatever bandwagon they send her way. The current bandwagon is "BLM," "systemic racism," "defund the police," etc. As Prosecutor she is charged to prosecute those charged with criminal actions in aid of making the public safer. However, many of the criminals she is supposed to prosecute are also members of the grievance groups she is sucking up to. Something's got to give. And what happens is she abandons her prosecutor's responsibilities in favor of her political partisanship. Nothing can be done about it. It's Chinatown Jake.
ReplyDelete^^OK Boomer. Hey look! Matlock's on!
ReplyDeleteWhat's Matlock, boomer?
DeleteThis is not complicated.
ReplyDeleteThe police are obstructing justice.
They are playing the victim.
Morale is not her problem.
You are a blatant liar. Either you are a troll or just mentally ill.
DeleteThe both look like they switched sexes. Cop looks like used to be a woman or still is. Jean looks like she used to be a man maybe still is.
ReplyDeleteSpotlight needs to be on her. How many repeat felons who got out of jail with a slap on the wrist turn out to be the murderers who are infecting the city?
ReplyDeleteThe central theme of the Urban policy is that the only way to end crime in KC is to "invest" in the parts of the city where this crime takes place. We have done this and crime only increases(3rd District).
How about rewarding good behavior rather than bad behavior???
^^I don't know Maude, did you call her and ask her? Why are you boring us with this dumb shit?
ReplyDelete^^^^How about you just STFU
ReplyDeletePandering. Placating. Period. Jean Petersucker Baker is just pandering.
ReplyDeleteDefund KCPD.
ReplyDeleteDefund useless community organizations like Ad Hoc and Aim yo' piece.
DeleteDefund parking control, the traffic unit, the helicopter, take home cars, the gang unit, SROs....
DeleteKCPD needs a major overhaul, as well as local control.
ReplyDeleteFalse.
DeleteTrue they need a major overhaul
DeleteDear Police, when you arrest a perp, please note how many times he/she has been arrested before and the resultant dispositions. I think crime would probably lessen if crooks did time. In this county, you can be a felon in possession of a gun and walk.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteIf a cop shoots someone, Democrats blame it on the cop
But if a criminal shoots someone, the Demos blame it on the gun
She is worthless but she is spot on with charges against both sets of officers.
ReplyDelete^^^^yawn
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletebi-racials now demanding Oreo Cookies be taken down
"Standing up for the black community?"
ReplyDeleteWhat, is he starting a prison ministry?
KCPD has lost the trust of the public.
ReplyDeleteYisssss! Way to go, Tony's KC for yet again proving Kansas City is the shithole of the nation. ANOTHER thread filled with poorly educated rednecks who eat lies for breakfast and then argue over shit that doesn't matter at all. Wake the fuck up. The entire US system of government is corrupt, and all you people can do is blame black people? What a bunch of morons.
ReplyDeleteIt seems entirely counter-intuitive to me to argue over the people making decisions rather than looking at the underlying issues. If the entire globe is responding by saying they not only stand with the US, but they admit they've ignored the same issue as well, how does it make any sense whatsoever to pretend like Kansas City is somehow immune? I'm white and live at 38th and Wyandotte. My neighborhood was an actual militarized police state during the protests, which it doesn't seem like most of you experienced based on your ridiculous assumptions regarding "riots". I wasn't afraid of any of the protestors, they are rightfully angry over rampant corruption in our city. From a logical standpoint, it seems the rest of the city should be upset about local government/police corruption as well, but all I see in these comments is fear and hatred.
ReplyDelete@2:48 - Since you were too upset to say who you were talking to, I assume you're trying to slam the post above yours. Seems like the message is entirely straight forward and fully literate. How does this bullshit biased joke of a blog not expose Kansas City as racist?
ReplyDeleteare people in the country as divided and angry as the people on this thread?
ReplyDeletei haven't thought so and still don't, but maybe i've been naive.
The police did not throw bottles of frozen water at the protestors, torch cars, break windows or vandalize buildings. They also did not do several millions of dollars in economic damage to the Plaza. Don’t try to tell us that the police were the problem.
ReplyDeleteTulsa: Will it be a scene?
ReplyDeleteKansas City is pretty close.
Trump should cancel Tulsa with an excuse that an open-air event will be held later.
ReplyDeleteThe timing doesn't seem propitious.
Emotions are running too high among several groups.
Do you want a Trump rally at Arrowhead or Kauffman or Starlight?
ReplyDeleteOMG, please, no!
ReplyDelete@3:06 If you're referring to me, who stated I actually lived in the militarized police state you all are calling "riots", then I will also tell you that multiple times the militarized police force actively tampered with protestors supplies. Their presence, military maneuvers, and aggressive action intentionally caused the crowds to increasingly grow more and more upset. Additionally, their presence in the surrounding neighborhoods had the desired psychological effects on the surrounding community. It pitted neighbor against neighbor and deprived us of sleep for days on end. How about you don't tell me what I've lived through? I watched the watered down versions of what was happening the local news media showed to suburban and rural viewers. The clips were intentionally shot to make the police look like they were saving city. Read up on military psyops, then come back and tell me you're not being fed lies by a govt/police/media machine that's out of control.
ReplyDelete@3:05 Hopefully, it's just limited to Kansas City and the earth will swallow it whole. And, yeah, you're pretty naive if you can't tell KC is racist as fuck.
ReplyDelete315, in the sixties, the best result for order was dissolving as you say and not acting like a battle line of storm troopers.
ReplyDeleteepisodes such as Kent State accumulated to put USA on the edge of revolution in the spring of 1970.
@3:22 precisely. KCPD tried what they always tried - brute force - and it backfired. We've seen this before, just as you're mentioning, but apparently the good people of KC weren't paying attention.
ReplyDeleteThe two faced standards of all Social movements are exposed and still followers line up to the cliffs to jump. What does that say ? Rev. Jim Jones had followers, same as Rev. Jessie Jackson or REV. Oprah. It's your problem if you follow the kool aid kids over the cliff of no return.
ReplyDeleteIt's also entirely your problem if you lack the capacity to think critically about the history of corruption in Kansas City's govt/police/media trifecta, and apply it to what's happening in real time. If you can't see how history is influencing the here and now, you're the follower.
ReplyDelete@3:30 EVERYTHING has multiple sides and angles. One, singular truth does not exist.
ReplyDeleteEvery one has their own subjective filters butt the existence of a singular, objective truth is foundational to western thought and philosophy.
ReplyDeletePolice Chief Rick Smith is a racist. Police Chief Rick Smith care not how many black people are murdered in a given day or a given year. The KCMO City Council members north of the river defending both the police and the police chief are out of touch with reality. Continued unconditional support of the police and the police chief can only be attributed to a support for the racist agenda. A racist is what a racist does.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately when you accuse everyone of being a racist except those on the left, it just becomes more noise.
DeleteHe’s pretty much a racist!
DeleteKCPD is allowing crime to get out of control while shooting it's own citizens. Defund KCPD.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know. Do you have access to the case file dipshit?
ReplyDelete@4:24 Maybe that's part of why we're in this current mess?
ReplyDeleteI question any organization that can't provide demographics of their workforce on demand. Even the city itself demands that information if you're requesting any type of nonprofit funding. Something doesn't add up there.
ReplyDeleteShe is a pathetic excuse for a prosecutor. Do people not see her for what she is and what she's doing? Pandering to the masses and acting as though she's just saved the world. All she's doing us grabbing for votes with her phoney smile and fake outrage. Ask homicide victims' families how she's helped them out. They cannot stand her and they know when they're being played.
ReplyDeleteIgnorance is among every color, creed, etc. It's not race that's the issue, but it's the ignorance of each own's reality and what they expect from life. Work hard and you will get whats yours. Believe in someone above and treat others as you would friends and family. All I see is spoiled children. Hope everyone understands that you are lucky. Visit Juárez, Mexico in your Prius and protest all you want. See what happens. Please don't take for granted what you have here in the United States. God bless all.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad to see JP hold the cop accountable. The Cop’s reckless behavior and mistakes lead to the death of an innocent person.
ReplyDelete
