A glimpse at more push back against law enforcement from social justice and court advocates. Take a look:
ACLU urges Missouri schools to drop police officers to pay for social workers, counselors instead
Kansas City, MO (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri is urging school districts to remove police officers from schools. St. Louis Public Radio reports that the ACLU has circulated a letter to nine school administrators so far, mostly in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
ReplyDeleteThat's not going to work out when these dysfunctional kids from deadbeat homes come in with a gun. Take a look at Sly James son would talking have stopped him from attacking a women??? NO Do your kids a favor and home school or put them in a private school that doesn't hate God cops and America.

ReplyDeleteEasy to make recommendations like this when your organization has no real responsibility for ANYTHING.
ReplyDeleteThis idea of a zero-sum funding game with money taken from the police department and used for social programs is childish.
Any organization should be funded appropriately to meet its assigned responsibilities and goals.
The ACLU lost its way some time ago and continues to drift further afield.
It needs to get back to "civil liberties" issues.
Just another group trying to ride the wave of the latest over-hyped trend.
Not worried about their years of lack of accreditation , however. Weird
ReplyDeleteI can see it now as a school shooter scholar enters the school, a social worker standing there saying "Billy, put down the gun and come into my office so we can talk about this" right before Billy blows their head off. Good choice taking the police officer out of the school.
ReplyDeleteUnknown what this has to do with civil rights. Is there a civil right not to be protected by a school resource officer? The ACLU again shows it is nothing more than a leftist advocacy group.
ReplyDelete^^Sure they are CHUD, sure they are.
