Money line from the artsy leader . . .
“Knowing that the presence of police would be badly perceived by our community, by the people we’ve worked so hard to embrace, to build bridges, and to create a sense of trust with, I felt that that was not right,” Museum director and CEO Julián Zugazagoitia says.
Meanwhile, TKC would simply like a bit of advance notice from po-po if they're going to back off protecting the museum . . . There's a Monet, an ancient Egyptian sculpture and a sword I've had my eye on for the past ten years and I'm pretty sure the docents wouldn't be able to stop me . . . I'm faster than I look.

Nelson-Atkins Museum Director Says Police Presence On Its Grounds 'Exactly The Opposite Of What We Stand For'
Organized protests in response to the death of George Floyd began on the Country Club Plaza on Friday, May 29. On that evening, the Kansas City Police Department looked for staging areas to park squad cars and asked Nelson-Atkins Museum security to use museum property.
He'll change his tune one the rioters get there. Too funny! Liberal supremacy at its best.
ReplyDeleteHey Jules, I think the only thing keeping the Nelson from turning into the monkey house is the cops you find it easy to bash. Not sure if you have looked at a map recently but you are pretty close to browntown.
ReplyDeleteThe pompous ass Nelson Art Museum Director apparently supports looting and burning. He will last one second when the looters take over and no one will shed a tear. The thin-blue line is the only thing protecting civilization in Kansas City from becoming a Mad Max movie.
ReplyDeleteNow the MAGAT riot provocateurs will target the Nelson. Mark my words.
ReplyDelete^^ Keep believing everything you read simp. Soros money if flowing all over the country into the hands of Antifa.
ReplyDeleteWho's the commentator who constantly harped on the killing of unarmed black men by the police?
ReplyDeleteByron has more replies than Walmart has Dirty fleece pant losers.
ReplyDeleteThey have a solid gold egyptian thing there worth a million dollars. And a huge diamond. Looters would love them
ReplyDeletebLIEron is a pathological liar, his elevator doesn’t go to the top floor, he’s 20 cards short of a full deck, he was told as a kid that when he hit rock bottom that there was no place but up, his mommie and daddy lied to him, he’s been going sideways on the bottom since he was a child! That’s what losers and retards do.....
ReplyDeleteHe’s awfully arrogant with other peoples priceless art isn’t he? If I was the kempers or the Bloch family I’d pull my millions and millions of dollars of fine art and store it in a bank away from this idiot.
ReplyDeleteHe’s just begging someone to set the place on fire.
He was only thinking about how the grass would feel if a cop stood on it all day, hey now, grass has feelings too!
ReplyDeleteLooters banging at the door and windows of the Nelson Art Gallery........
ReplyDeleteJeeves is frantically calling 911......
Police: Well Jeeves; we are going to have to park about five blocks from the museum. We should be there in an hour............or two. We don't want to provide the wrong message by parking our police cars in the museum's driveway.
Will the board please remove this clown. I do want the police to protect the Nelson.
ReplyDeleteStrange that someone would imply that police are detested by the community. Are these the same police we embraced after 911?
ReplyDeleteIf I was a rioter looking to deface something, after this announcement, I'd be like, listen up, niggas. We gonna go fuck up da Nelson art museum. Po-po aint gonna defend art museum now, motherfuckers.
ReplyDeleteJulián Zugazagoitia? If his father was executed by the Franco government his father was a commie. Comrade Julián probably is too.
ReplyDeleteIt is donations from wealthy capitalists that helped the Nelson build its impressive collection and it is the baying mob outside that will likely burn it down if he denies the museum he has only been given temporary stewardship of police protection. It is not yours to destroy. It belongs to the people of this city.
Come on MAGATS. Have some balls and flat out say you want the Nelson burned. What a bunch of keyboard warrior thumb-sucking children hiding behind the screen like Dear Leader in the bunker...
ReplyDeleteThanks FAGAT
DeleteTOP PHOTO -- ANTIQUATED LIBERAL EXPRESSIONISM
ReplyDeleteWhen J.Z., the Nelson-Atkins Museum director, turned against the KCPD, it was Beyoncé the pale!!!
Good point 2:14; Franco executed the Communists who were supported by Josef Stalin and the Soviet Union.
ReplyDeleteI like Presidents that don’t hide in bunkers.
ReplyDeleteJulián Zugazagoitia is comparing our police to the Gestapo? Nice, does Shirley Helzberg think that the same cops protecting her diamond empire are Nazi's as well?
ReplyDeletePoor leadership from the Nelson! Political correctness that looks stupid. One can support the protest and the police, while not supporting vandals and law breakers. Then Julian throws his security department under the bus. Clueless leadership. Shame on Julian and the institution he represents!
ReplyDeleteHe gets paid a lot of money to say stupid things...
ReplyDeleteThe Board of Trustees should find better leadership for the gallery. He alienates KCPD, the arts community and neighbors of the Nelson.
ReplyDelete^^Food for thought.
ReplyDeleteThere it is folks...12:34 with the "Soros money" statement. If you see 12:34 out and about, keep your distance. He's a fucking weirdo that thinks black helicopters are following him around. But he eats his vitamins that he buys from Infowars so he also thinks he's a super tough guy too.
ReplyDeleteNew campaign slogan: Trump 2020....let's keep this shit show going!
Mr. Julian is a simplistic thinker living in an art bubble and out of touch with his communities. Time to polish up that resume.
ReplyDeleteAll the dispshits in this thread: "derr, whut do we need sum stoopid art for anyway"
ReplyDeleteJ.Z. has made an error in judgement. Very offense to so many. Seems he supports lawlessness and lacks respect for our police department. Makes the Nelson look small and unimportant.
ReplyDeleteWait until someone sets one of those Henry Moore sculptures on fire. He might rethink his distancing from KCPD.
ReplyDelete^^Like who..your daddy?
ReplyDeleteThe Nelson is a symbol of white male supremacy. Kempers, Block, other use it as a free warehouse to store over 2.6 billion (yes billion) dollars worth of art bought and paid for by white male executives that live in Kansas City. Even Nelson himself was a symbol of white power -his family owned slaves! But nobody is smart enough to protest or loot the place.
ReplyDeleteJeez, get over it already. Mary Atkins and William Rockhill Nelson built that amazing gallery and Kansas City families like the Blochs (built another addition) and the Halls have donated many millions so that our City can benefit from the treasures inside. Are you so stupid and bitter you can’t appreciate that? It’s 2020, not 1820. Move forward, pea brain.
DeleteLeaders who have hidden in a bunker and gassed their own citizens include Saddam Hussein, Adolf Hilter, and Donald Trump. No, wait. That was uncalled for. I never should've called Trump a leader.
ReplyDeleteRepublicans are the party of hate.
ReplyDeleteYes, we hate the government taking our work product and distributing it to others who don’t deserve it. Otherwise, we are lovely, equal-opportunity people.
DeleteRally cry heard inside the White House: "Lights out! Bunker now! Lights out! Bunker now!"
ReplyDelete^^ Nice try. The Dems started the KKK. Prominent Dem celebrities want to pay bail on violent rioters in jail now.
ReplyDeleteFAGLER.. that's all.
ReplyDelete^^^Nice try Dinesh. Every functioning adult besides you Trumptards is aware the party platforms switched decades and decades ago.
ReplyDeleteNow go back to peddling bullshit conspiracy theories dumb dumb.
is he an american?
ReplyDeleteDinesh? Yes. He immigrated the legal way.
DeleteLIBERAL SHITHOLE NOBODY GOES TO LIKE THE AFRICAN BASEBALL HALL OF TAXPAYER WAISTED MONEY
ReplyDelete1230 did those trumpeters attack the whitehouse to
ReplyDelete1230 your mamas a welfare whore like you
ReplyDelete@2:44 - Then I guess you won't be voting for Joe Biden.
ReplyDeleteOh looky, soros paid troll is trying to earn his pay again today, ain’t he cute!
ReplyDeleteGeorgie Soros is an elderly man that has maybe 2 years to live tops. He could care less about the USA. or changing the USA. He grew up as a Nazi captive and was lucky to survive the holocast. He has billions, houses all over the world, yachts, and wealthy friends. He could care less about our political system. he is probably spending his remaining time planning for death, making sure the right people inherit what he wants them to have and plans on holding off legal challenges to his estate. If your rich, the "money owns you". He is owned by his huge wealth. He has no time for the usa or our problems. if you think he cares for the poor or downtrodden in Kansas City, or NYC, then you are way out of touch with reality. He wouldnt give a penny to protesters.
ReplyDeleteCan I get an appointment for the free stuff? Several pieces I really like. I can bring a gun and signs that helps?
ReplyDelete7:45 That is a lie. Soros is and does support the left wing of the world. His son is ready to follow in his shoes. You are a stupid lemming.
ReplyDeleteMAGAT here. Bringing popcorn down to the Nelson and watching it get ransacked.
