Tonight, instead of performances at Starlight theater . . . Urban core locals are treated to an unwelcome and potentially fireworks display that leaves on man fighting for his life and police looking for suspects.

Man in critical condition after shooting at Swope Park

Kansas City Police are investigating a shooting at Swope Park.It happened around 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the 4200 block of Pavilion Road, just west of Starlight Theater.Police say one man was shot and is in critical condition.There is no information about the suspect.This is a developing story, check back for updates.
