Library Selects UMKC's John Herron as New Director

John Herron, who drove innovation and growth in leading the University of Missouri-Kansas City's College of Arts and Sciences, has been named the new director of the Kansas City Public Library. The Library's board of trustees approved his appointment Tuesday, June 2, 2020, following a nearly four-month national search.

    now that it's a body in motion with inertia, it should be manageable by a competent person.

  3. This is an example of what white privilege is. Their is NO need for KC public library system. The area has the Mid-Continent Library system, KC should be part if the system. Media all the time talks KC One. What a waste $175,000.
