Restaurants in Kansas lost nearly $500 million during the first two months of the coronavirus pandemic. And halfway through May, sales at restaurants that haven't permanently closed were down 63% on average compared to the same period last year. ReplyDeleteAlot of bars stay in business by selling drugs. Think what the loss in revenue was to the drug dealers. Really think a bar makes enough to stay open on drinks? To cover rent, taxes, overhears....nah...
