Department of Transportation to distribute 100 million masks to passengers to stave off COVID-19
The U.S. Department of Transportation will send nearly 100 million cloth face masks to airports, Amtrak and transit systems for passengers, the department said Friday. The masks were secured by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in an effort to prevent the spread the coronavirus. Most airlines, Amtrak and transit systems require passengers to wear face coverings.
