One hurt in overnight shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Police said one person was hurt in shooting early Sunday morning. It happened at the Blue Parkway near Elmwood Avenue. The victim suffered serious injuries. There is no suspect information at this time.

  2. Maybe the out of control crime rate (which is the fault of no one but the violent thugs who are actually committing crimes) should be the focus of all these "woke" social justice warriors. Maybe they should put their money where their mouths - and their homemade signs- are. You say black lives matter? Prove it and start speaking the truth...That 90+ homicides is absolutely unacceptable in this or any city. That shooting someone for a bag of weed or because someone "disrespected" you is unacceptable. That people sitting in their own homes, including children for God's sake, being shot in drive-by shootings is unacceptable. That blaming the police for the rise in crime is unacceptable and quite frankly absolute bullshit. Change your tactics and do something to actually help our communities because all your marching, screaming, and destructive behavior isn't working. In fact it hurts your message.

    I know let's pretend that the Second Amendment means everyone can conceal carry a weapon everywhere.

    Let's make sure there are more guns in America then people, & then complain about the gunfire.
