KC council prepares to make budget cuts to city departments
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - The city finance department presented options to the finance committee Wednesday. The council will have to decide where to make the cuts. The finance department says the city needs to cut $50 million from this year's budget.
Will the council take a cut in pay themselves?
ReplyDeleteWill Lucas do the same?
I mean if things have to be trimmed back money wise lets all take a hit.
Will they cut funds for corporate welfare?
ReplyDelete$93 million rainy day fund?
ReplyDeleteNow that is funny
Except stupid dave, and this is real key here retard...YOU DON'T LIVE IN KC! What's this "let's all take a hit" Shit? YOU DON'T LIVE IN KC!!!! Stop posting here! Why don't you have anything else to do all day?

ReplyDelete^^^^^ 7:27 What Dave says is true, what you say is garbage so lets say we take out the trash starting with you?
ReplyDeleteSounds like 7:27 is the Mayor or a City Council person.
ReplyDeletePay cut talk for the Mayor and City Council got 7:27 triggered.
^^^True Dat
ReplyDeleteAny fool can criticize, condemn and complain… and most do right 7:27?
ReplyDeleteYou can count on the gang at 12th and Oak to treat the budget cuts just like the Star handles news.
ReplyDeleteSeparate the wheat from the chaff.....and print the chaff.
The KCMO budget will keep the fluff and giveaways and reduce what few basic services that residents receive.
Upside-down priorities don't change just because there's an emergency.
Momentum!
and yet stupid dave STILL doesn't live here, and STILL replies to anti-dave posts anonymously all the time. Weird.
ReplyDeleteOh Chimpenstein 8:52, everyone knows you're a poo-flinging silly monkey---ooking and eeking nonsense from your stinky cage.
DeleteChigger's upset with Dave.
ReplyDelete^^Stupor dave...what a pud.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make recommendation to the KCMO City Council for budget cuts:
ReplyDelete1) Mayor
2) City Manager
3) Parks and Recreation Board
4) Street Car
5) 18th and Vine district
6) Street Department Sign shop
7) Street renaming activities
8) Statue removals and fountain renaming projects
9) Jackson County Payments
10) Tax incentives that include school tax giveaways.
11) Any funds going to areas of the city where residents do not cooperate with police on crime reduction.
Cut the police budget.
ReplyDeleteCity has lots of money ! New bike lanes being installed today on Gillham at Armour what a joke.
ReplyDelete@ 11:04 @ 9:52 here- You are correct, adding Bike Lanes anywhere in the city to my cuts list # 12.
ReplyDeleteThere were for revenue shortfall forecasts. The last presentation by the head of finance was the spreadsheet from 2008, not a "forecast". The head of finance has since moved on to a new job.
ReplyDeleteBike boy Bunch is working to manipulate budgets to get his bike lanes without public input. When he tried to control public input and review, it backfired. He has taken his effort under the radar. Gotta watch him!
ReplyDeleteBuy ammunition, silver and gold, in that order.
