This news about the library becoming popular for something other than a place for hobos to make BM is a nice sentiment.

However, statistical data reminds us that 24 percent of American adults haven’t read a book in the past year.

So we must checkout this info with just a bit of skepticism . . . Take a look:

Kansas City Area Libraries Are Working To Get Anti-Racist Books Into The Hands Of Eager Readers

Many Kansas City area residents are turning to local libraries to get educated on issues of race and social injustice as the metro, like the nation, continues to experience protests following the killing by Minneapolis Police of George Floyd. Kansas City Public Library put out a statement earlier this month in support of the protests.
