KCPD responds to standoff near Truman Sports Complex

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to a call and a standoff ensued near the Truman Sports Complex Tuesday morning. It started just before 5: 30 a.m. and police said an armed person is outside, threatening suicide at Raytown Road and Ozark Road.

    Clark Hunt of Dallas Texas was taken into custody after an hours long standoff with KCPD. Hunt was reportedly distraught over being initially rejected for a coronavirus business loan while attempting to sign a quarterback to a long-term deal.
