  4. That was actually a good restaurant and bar. Wow, if the Flying Saucer goes under there are going to be a lot of bankruptcies in downtown KC.

Great job Mayor Lucas with the handling of COVID-19 closures and allowing your Democrat Marxist protesters to loot and arson.

  6. Thanks Trump. Ignoring the virus has crashed the economy completely. Most countries are still running, but not us. Trump has killed 100,000 Americans needlessly and has unemployment over 20%.

  9. 12:40, are you referring to the Wuhan Virus? I didn't know that Trump is Chinese!

A civics refresher: the federal government does not possess police powers except in extreme situations (martial law: is that what you want?). Federal agencies (The Swamp) should be able to provide guidance and assistance, but being bureaucrats they (CDC and FDA) they fucked it up and ended up doing more harm than good.

States do possess police powers and can and should use them to protect their citizens as best they can in an epidemic.

Maybe there's not a heck of a lot that can be done. The virus isn't going to disappear. Barring a breakthrough vaccine,of which there is absolutely no assurance, eventually everyone will get it, but many will not even know when that happens. The young and healthy will get well again and go about their lives. The old and unhealthy can choose to stay in quarantine and mope if they want. Old farts who don't care if the economy crashes on their children and grandchildren so long as they can live a year or two longer are simply selfish.
