KANSAS CITY HITS 90 HOMICIDES IN 2020 AFTER DEADLY GUNFIRE ON THE PASEO!!!

Despite a great deal of social justice debate today, the level of violence and brutality on local streets remains constant.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY'S LATEST KILLING CONTINUES HISTORIC 2020 HOMICIDE PACE & THREATENS BREAK A RECORD!!!

This town has been pushing past the 153 all-time high murder mark for years. The 1993 uptick in violence was a result of national trends just as this spate of killing also seems related to widespread social unrest and the consequences of the pandemic lockdown.

Even worse . . .

KANSAS CITY PUSHES 100 HOMICIDES HALFWAY THROUGH 2020 WHILST LOCAL POLITICOS & ACTIVISTS ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH CAMPAIGN SEASON, NAME GAMES AND POWER GRABS!!!

With murder spiking nearly 40% this year, there is a dearth of political willpower to confront this issue and not hint of a plan geared toward changing this tragic local situation.

Instead, this town has only seen a great deal of posturing and mimicking national talking points without much concern for desperation on local streets and how to specifically confront this problem in our neighborhoods. Other American cities have addressed local violence more effectively while KCMO continues to politely ignore the crisis in favor of climbing aboard our respective campaign season bandwagons.

  1. We shouldn't forget that in the 50s, the Paseo was once one of the nicest parts of KC and just as beautiful as ward parkway.

There are many reasons for the violence but there is no reason this part of the city can't be beautiful again.

    1. We could hit 100 by July 4th.

At that point it's game on for 200 murders in 2020.

    2. ^^^ At that point you have to ask yourself what's the point of living in a city that has given up on public safety.

  2. ^^^

KC gave up on public safety and supporting police back in the 90s.

    Think about it.

  3. Just hope none of the clowns protesting violence was hurt in the crossfire.
You'd hate to see them have to actually get involved in serious issues.
Where's the Blue Valley contingent when you need them?
And, of course, where's the "leadership" in the black community and the ineffective unaccountable anti-crime nonprofits?
They never seem to be in the parts of the city where all the violence and murder take place.

  4. Meanwhile, in the major leagues, Baltimore has 156 murders and Chicago has 310. Our ghetto hood rats are weak and unskilled.

    1. WRONG! Chicago has one homicide per every 8,710 residents. KCMO has one per every 5,277 residents. We are more murderously violent than Chicago.

    2. 7:53 You’re stupid. We can’t even beat St Louis. Our hood rats are lame. They all live off their grandma’s welfare.

  5. Too bad about a couple of hundred of the BLM protesters didn’t get added to our total.

@7:53 is actually right on the money.

You have to look at the rate of murders per 100,000. KC has been among the 5 deadliest cities in America and actually worse than Chicago.

  9. Don’t worry, folks. The so-called Black leaders said all we needed as a little development to curb the violence and everything would be alright. Then, they said, lets throw people out of their houses to build a police station that that would foster improved relationships with the police. Then, they said we just need retail establishments to frequent and do some shopping. Well, old Ollie Gates spruced up the land around his BBQ establishment, put in a planet fitness, bank, retail establishments and still... the violence persist. Things are safer than they’ve ever been; lest you count the dead.

  10. Guess they should name it MLK Drive or BLM drive. Honor all the blacks being killed by their own. Sadly most whites care more for their lives than their own.

  11. ^^^^^Then they said let's give more money to 18th and Vine. Henry service said that will fix things because it's whitey's fault.

  17. 100 HOMICIDES BEFORE JULY AND QUINTON LUCAS MUST RESIGN TO AVOID CAREER RECORD EMBARRASSMENT

Lucas publicly stated before January 1st, that he would keep the 2020 homicide count to 100 or less or the year.

  18. 90 murders before the end of June. That is shameful. And scary. This is just the time for the City Clowncil and the head Clown to take over $10 million from the KCPD budget. No new academy classes for months, dozens will retire between now and the end of the year, and this is the best those jackasses at city hall can come up with??? Be careful KC, you might just get what you're asking for and then the last few weeks will look like a Sunday picnic.

  19. Let's rename JC Nichols fountain. That will stop the killing.

  20. Hey Byron answer this simple question: Why does Black Lives Matter continue to totally ignore the epidemic of black on black killings?

Well Byron, do you have an answer? We're all waiting since you think you're so smart.
