Protecting your mental health in the midst of a pandemic, protests, and politics
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Even with the threat of coronavirus, events and gathering are becoming more common. As some health professionals warn there could be a second wave of COVID-19 cases, KCTV5's Abby Dodge met with a psychotherapist to explore how that could affect all of us mentally.
If you want to relax go out and have a meal and a drink with other people. And hell no to another lock down. It won't happen. The riots and looting are at least partially due to the mental illnesses that have taken hold during the first lockdown. The economic destruction will not be quickly overcome. We can protect the vulnerable and maintain stockpiles of necessary PPE, tests, and other equipment without redoing the damage that was done last time.
ReplyDeleteI encourage all Tony's Kansas City readers to not wear masks.
