Here's a bit of encouragement for those "courageous conversations" that will ultimately push away friends and family and possibly lead to a fist fight with a drunk uncle . . . Checkit:
Speaking out when you see racism or injustice
Race is taking center stage in the United States as people protest in response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. And when racism shows up at the dinner table or in a conversation with friends, Nick Pickrell, organizer at The Open Table in Midtown, said it can't be ignored.
ReplyDeleteThe only racism going on nation wide right now is black against white and against cops. However blacks are going to suffer greatly for this and that's sad the democrats have set race relations back. Who is going to even want to speak to a black person now?

ReplyDeleteAunt Tina reflexively cringed at the cookout when someone dared ask, "Are these Black Angus burgers???"

ReplyDelete^^^Ask your mental ward attendants to up your meds. Whatever you're on is not working.
ReplyDeleteWhen the terrorist were killing predominently White people, the phrase was if you see something same thing. Now, that the same terrorists are targeting Black people, suddenly seeing something and saying something alienates friends and family. Interesting... You are morally guilty of aiding and abetting when you don’t confront injustice against any human being. I bet this so-called “alienation” sentiment is coming for so-called “Christians”. Yes, everyday, your faith and values are tested. Like here...
ReplyDelete^^^That’s the same question we ask when a pig gets killed.
