  1. The police should announce they will stop patrolling the 3 block area around Children's Mercy for the next 2 months. And will not respond to any calls there (including rapes). Then lets see what happens!!!

  2. It's a shame that even our hospitals have become supporters of violence. There's other hospitals for kids just stay away form this one.

To Children's Mercy Hospital we will never forget.

  3. The #1 lesson here... for God's sake, in the hyper-sensitive world we now live in, check and check and check again before you issue any statements. You would think that an organization as large as CM would have learned that by now.

  5. I bet the police are real slow to respond to any calls at the medical center now. Its pretty hard to get your enemies to help you. That hospital is screwed!

  6. CM is a great institution and as such has always had donors of all political stripes.

But many of those don't want to support radicalism and divergence from core mission.

    Very dangerous for them.

  7. 8:40 - Why wouldnt hospitals support violence??? Violence keep their trauma rooms full - dumbass!!

  8. Why would any Hospital jump in to begin with ? Didn't this same Hospital have a child molester work there ?

  9. Forget protesting, so now nobody can even SAY anything critical about cops without their bullying and retribution?

As if we needed more proof, we are indeed living under a police state.

  10. Maybe if Children's Mercy doctors were not living in mansions and driving Mercedes; poor African Americans could receive heathcare.

    Food for thought.

  11. CM has been dead to me for a while due to over-billing practices. My health insurance could not believe the extent to which they insist on splitting services in order to juice the billing....their complete disregard for police is not at all a surprise to me.
