  1. Don't goof up your chance when you get that lucky break. And have a good mechanic to replace brakes on a regular basis.

  4. One of only two paths: her husband runs it behind the scenes with her as the head for the minority or disadvantaged set asides or she doesn't have a husband and sleeps her way to gov contracts on DBE/WBE. Like someone above said, it is one of the most corrupt industries around, especially at the government level. Attractive women are hired as the point people for the large construction and engineering firms to snag the contacts or contracts. Its a basic instinct, people, especially dudes, want to please attractive chicks. I walk the other way if I come across one 'cause I know I'm about to get screwed, and not the way I wanted.

  5. It may pay to have a female at contract time. Point is, especially with government contracts, if they can't carry their own load and are slowing down progress from the other trades they'll simply be replaced with someone else.

She's a plumber - second most important trade for a builder, first being concrete. With concrete and plumber a builder can keep going and going
    government or not.

  6. Women in the corporate world use their looks to get ahead. By getting promotions over more qualified people who are not as genetically blessed. Then those attractive women make huge mistakes which costs their employers millions of dollars. Its watched by the "passed over employees" who just sit and wonder how corporations can be so stupid. Then the "passed over" staff get discouraged, quit helping the pretty promoted people do their job, and even setup stumbling blocks to make it even more obvious that the pretty people are not qualified. When I resigned and left my last job, the "pretty girl" who had equal years experience as me, kept calling me at my new job for help. I always made sure I called her back - after the deadlines had passed. She expected me to do my new job and her job too! But the bosses will keep her cause they like the looks of her legs. Bet they wont in 30 years. Superficial people...
