Kansas City Animal Lovers Fight For Pets Who Can't Breathe This Summer

Activists already have started breaking windows and damaging cars when pets are trapped . . . Check the policy push to continue the crackdown:

Some say KC needs ordinance making it illegal to leave pets in hot cars

In 2016, Missouri passed a law allowing police officers and concerned bystanders to break a window to get a pet out of a hot car.

  1. I've found that a strong dose of laxatives wrapped in bacon works quite well in reminding people not to leave their dogs in a car with the window rolled part way down.

  5. "OK Boomer" or another variation used in a disparaging tone = the new N-word equivalent phrase that tries to diminish and dehumanize the elderly and make them sound stupid in a “hip” way. Imagine if people started saying, "OK N****r." Age discrimination and elder abuse are alive and well in America, and these issues are as disgusting, shameful and wrong as racism.

  7. You can legislate people from being just plain stupid. You don't leave a doc or a child or a grandparent in a car in the sun whit the windows rolled up and no AC.
