KANSAS CITY 2020 HOMICIDE #76: ONE MAN SHOT DEAD AFTER HORRIFIC ROLLING GUN BATTLE NEAR SWOPE PARK!!!
Despite social justice advocacy this week, the quotient of local violence continues to move along a record-breaking pace.
The latest:
Kansas City, Missouri, police were called at 10:42 p.m. to a reported shooting near East 67th Street and Swope Parkway. The occupants of two vehicles in the area were shooting at each other. Officers discovered several shell casings in the roadway upon arrival. A large group of people were reportedly in the park. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
This represents a 31% spike in homicides compared to last year at this time. when homicides only numbered 58.
Developing . . .
Seem like the dangers in KC doesn't have much to do with the police at all. They're only marginally involved and always after the fact.

So what, exactly, is so HORRIFIC about this?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't TYPICAL be much more apt?
^^^
DeleteSadly, that's a good point.
Also, I guess they aren't social distancing at Swope Park tonight.
I guess black lives do not matter to blacks. Another black on black shooting. When will this end?
ReplyDeleteNeed Local Control of Police.
ReplyDeleteNo, we do not. That would be the worst thing that could happen. We need a new police chief. But we should not cede control your the KCMO City Council, who are ill equipped to manage a police force. They already screw up the KCFD and can’t manage them. KCPD will just be worse.
DeleteNeed local control of the zoo animals.
ReplyDeleteNeed local control of deez nuts.
ReplyDeleteGangsta mFer bros gattin bitches. True Dat . Weird
ReplyDeletesome plaza restaurant opened for lunch. I doubt any of them were open after dark. I'm socially distancing from these place for years. It'll take a lot to get me and a lot of other people back down there. No thank you.
ReplyDeleteBLM at Swope, just not to blacks.
ReplyDeleteIf some of these people both black and white REALLY cared about homicides in the hood, they would do something about it. Donate, move in, or rebuild the community.
ReplyDeleteIt's much easier to just bitch online.
We've donated enough already.
DeleteDint see nuffin, dint here nuffin. Trump fault. Dont need no popo. Sorry, gotta go marchin now.

ReplyDeleteIT SUCKS WATCHING ONCE GREAT CITIES TURN INTO LIBERAL DUMPS
ReplyDeleteThis comment thread... embarrassing, racist, and juvenile! You all hide behind the internet to make fun of a murder? That was somebody’s son or daughter that is no longer alive? What’s wrong with you? And what does this have to do with COVID? I’ll be praying for the families affected. And I will be praying for everyone in this thread as well. You need it.
ReplyDeleteAmen!!!!
DeleteFuck you, 7:47, negroes are animals and aren't human. We all KNOW this.
DeleteJust another name off the welfare roles, 8:08.
^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteEach life lost is a tragedy.
In KCMO when over 150 lives are lost to murder year after year after year, each homicide becomes a statistic.
The black community and what passes for "leadership" in it don't care as evidenced by the lack of cooperation in investigating the murders and the lack of even speeches, much less marches and protests, even as the numbers increase each year.
77 murders in KCMO so far this year.
And each year fully half the number of homicides as New York City, which has a population 17 times the size.
Willful conscious ignorance of a horrendous problem right in their own neighborhoods.
It's hard to care when the people most affected clearly do not.
@ 10:09 - Not really. They probably still vote democrat too.
