  1. Then Forte's name should be the first one on it.

The real question is this already exists and why act like it’s suddenly the greatest idea since sliced bread?

  3. To become a cop you have to go through some of the most extensive background checks imaginable, if you hire a bad cop from another city then somebody fucked up.

  4. A black representative of the community should be first contact before the police. Sign ups should start now so when the 911 calls comes in the police can stay back until it's safe for the officers to approach. The community representatives could have lights and sirens just like volunteer firefighters.

Better have a big sign up march because I have a feeling the pool of reps is going to dwindle real fast or not. I'd even donate for the lights and sirens.

  5. Forte was the biggest scammer in KC history, when charging $500,000 of overtime when he was KC Chief of Police. Only hourly workers get overtime.

  6. 9:15 I agree, if I was a cop I would not go on one more call that involves contact with a black person unless something like you said was in place first as a buffer between the cop and the black community or visa Versa.

  7. This is the same PR stunt he pulled as KCPD chief, showing up at all the homicide scenes and charging overtime the whole time. Screw him. How about one of these reporters ask him about that.

  10. RE: Jackson County's Sheriff Has Started Showing Up At Crime Scenes

    Old habits die hard.

    1) Forte is very worried about holding onto his job in the upcoming election.

    2) Somebody check and see if he's on the County clock when showing up at these homicide scenes, just to loiter around. This was one of his favorite ways as KCPD Chief to accumulate extra paid hours. Remember he walked with a 1/2 million bonus check, besides the generous retirement package. Left before the Child Victims Unit scandal fully broke.

  11. This is more than laughable. And from someone who was never at work long enough to know what was going on, but off riding his motorcycle and making late night phone calls to female employees. Well, he did manage to make some decisions when one of his buddies got in trouble.

  12. Can you tell it's an election year.
