Council discusses how police body cameras will be implemented into KCPD

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- On Tuesday, the City Council will talk about body cameras for Kansas City police officers. Last week, the mayor and police chief announced the department would be getting body cameras. This was one of the demands of protesters because the cameras can help provide some transparency in the department.

Comments

  1. Body cameras for the police will turn out to be the biggest unintended consequence and the worst nightmare for the "activists".
Now the behavior of the "victim" BEFORE the response by the police will be on video.
And they'll make it online where they can be viewed over and over again.
Then we'll hear how unfair showing the videos is and what you think you see if really not the whole story.
The KCPD should be implementing body cameras as quickly as they possible can.

  2. To take video's of blacks jumping out of their cars with a semi automatic when the officer approaches at a traffic stop.
