  1. I’m proud of Parkville’s history of slavery. It’s important to acknowledge history. Taking the plaques down does not change history.

  2. May I recommend that you read "1984".

  3. You obviously totally missed the lessons of 1984. Those plaques are the lies about history. By replacing them with the true history of slavery in Parkville we are moving away from 1984. Bullshit artists like you are not helpful.

  4. Lies are the removal of History and replacing it with fantasy one. One day most special interests will have a great time with the Kung flu crowd eating them. ( as they still do albinos, midgets and blue eyes in much of Africa ) If you read history, you would know their barbaric History of doing so. And in the many years they've not changed. Crunchie lil tasty treat unicorn boys. While they poke infants to relieve their sexual witchcraft. Spend more time travelling the world and not the keyboard.

  5. This is wonderful! Parkville just made it so that slavery ever existed. Now lets tear down the downtown there too.

  7. Orwell predicted all this in his book 1984. How did he do this? The Communists were already doing it in the Soviet Union. If you remove any historical narrative because someone gets their feelings hurt then lies will be the standard. The truth hurts. History is often ugly and unpleasant. As an older adult, the "history" I was taught was much too often propaganda born or prior prejudices and narrow thinking. Now this is being doubled down on by a new generation. As a result, actions are being taken to respond to horrible misreadings of history. Both sides should look at it all anew and keep much more open minds...but they won't.
