A Kansas City, Kansas, man who was arrested after throwing water bottles at police officers during protests at the Country Club Plaza was charged in federal court Thursday with illegally possessing a firearm.Matthew E. Madden, 22, was charged in a criminal complaint filed in the U.S.

  1. Maybe the Mayor or Jean Peters will pardon him. He was a peaceful protester, according to the mayor's new rules he wasn't doing anything illegal, he was probably illegally arrested anyway and will make a claim that the police knelt on his neck, blinded him with a rubber bullet and broke his leg.

  3. Throwing projectiles @ police isn't acceptable & he should we charged with a crime, but a different one...
    Missouri medical marijuana users beware... The charges against this knucklehead isn't for the violence against the officer, but for possessing a .40 cal & 1.23 grams (a blunt) of weed.
