Long-term financial reports were already painting a challenging picture of Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, finances. One forecast published by the UG finance office last year predicted an economic downturn, one that would lead to $32 million in losses collectively over five years if the UG did nothing.
Like in Jackson County people are going to have to be killed off (economic genocide) for the politico's to keep their gravy going. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to offer my property for sale only an idiot would pay the amount of money the U.G. says my property is worth - no matter an independent appraisers opinion or the U.G.'s opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe U.G's monthly charges for utility service is darned near as much as the two utilities charged for.
One problem we have over here is the southern folk genre slowly integrating into the lifestyle present here already. Doesn't seem to create any major problems here in wyandotte yet but Topeka is aware and shouldn't or won't stand for it. Quit trying is all I've got to say.
Weather or not the U.G. receives due tax payments from the bigger outfits at the legends, for example, remains unseen and unknown to the likes of me.
One day the state of ks will take back the lake out here - all I've got to say about that is that it will be a good day when that happens.
