Testing Kansas City Hobos For COVID-19

A gesture of goodwill for this vulnerable population and also a tacit admission that this town isn't counting on everybody obeying social distancing rules . . . Especially those who rely on public toilets and drinking fountains for their basic hygiene needs.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Throughout the past seven weeks, Hope Faith Ministries teamed up with several organizations, called the Homeless Assistance Campus, to provide services for the homeless. It's located just outside Hope Faith, on the corner of 7th Street and Virginia Avenue.

  1. Who's going trust those test swabs at this point? Have the vials those swabs come in been tested for Covid 19?

    Quarantine them to the sidewalk on 3rd & Broadway?

  4. Isolation is available for those who test positive or are with symptoms and awaiting results. Very few positive results. Early education efforts may have resulted in very few cases among the homeless. Yes HIV testing is offered. I dont know about TB.
