Yes madam. Why shouldn't you pay your rent? Everyone else has. That t shirt and matching mask wasn't free. If you have the money to join a rebellious club you have money to pay your rent.

Only a blithering idiot thinks you can pay rent with a shirt. In the real world wealthy people get free money to pay their pandemic expenses but idiots say it's immoral for normal people to to expect significant money.

Well, sometimes you have to pick your battles. That means skipping the protest to ensure a roof over your help. You have to find the balance but you have to take care of home first.
