  5. You want to be a cop, there's the tiny, tiny risk you'll fall victim to a bullet. Life happens. Get over it. Put your big boy pants on, folks.

  7. The liberal justice system is to blame for this officers death.

The shooter had a record as long as your arm, multiple burglaries, assaulting a police officer (the cop should have put him down then) and who knows what else.

He should have been in jail.

When they go easy on criminals, the police pay the price.

RIP Officer Mosher. You are a hero.

  9. ^^^ I agree. Kansas is mostly Republican and their mantra is get tough on crime. What happened here? or did he enjoy white privileged?

  10. Phillip Michael Carney was indeed a dance instructor. And was also a violent alcoholic and drug addict with a history of threatening people. He also served multiple jail terms. Wonder if the dance partners that are shown on at least 3 facebook vids know they were dancing with a dangerous convict? Maybe the institutions that employed him should have vetted him better -- don't you people do criminal background checks and drug testing? Yep, I'm talking about you Camelot Ballroom in OP -- got video proof that he was there as an instructor...what was his employment status? Did you tell the girls he was on video with you allowed a violent criminal to dance with them? He's now a dead cop killer. Guess these girls are lucky he didn't shoot them too.

  11. Sorry for the loss of the officer. This will take another officer away from public safety to assume his union position negotiating unsustainable pension benefits. Soft on crime judicial system is to blame for the killer being free to commit this crime. Law abiding citizens are powerless to fix this broken system.
