Newspaper Finally Notes Not-So-Great Kansas City Mask Debate

We talked about this on Friday and made the local connection to the Mayor.

Here's the Star expecting people to pay 4 bucks for their graphic on the story.

Do you wear a mask? Kansas City, and the nation, divide over this COVID-19 question

Since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 hit the United States more than three months ago, the virus has killed some 75,000 Americans. Yet, this past week, Ken Hall, 38, walked toward his pickup truck in the parking lot of a shopping center along Highway 152 in Clay County.

Do I wear a mask? Only when I went to Costco. Otherwise no.

The notion that everyone needs to be tested is simply nonsensical. if we tested every single American in this country at this moment, we’d have to test them an hour later and an hour later after that, because at any moment you could theoretically contract this virus.

if everyone were to wear masks in public, corona would disapoear.

Remember these words from a k.c. doctor who spent a few weeks in New York to help out and then returned recently back to K.C. - "DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN".

Yes, I'm still wearing a mask here in Wyco. Gloves too.

I do. Here's another tip - when you feel your eyes/eyelids slightly burning find a sink and wash your face. Soap or no soap, either is fine.
