One "Karen" can shut down an entire street in Kansas City without running it past ANYBODY ELSE ON THE BLOCK . . . We noted the growing resistance previously but local news picked up our story but decided to double down on promotional content and the move to make this effort PERMANENT.

  1. I thought the "stay at home orders" had expired some time ago. Did I miss something or are we commanded to stay at home in perpetuity?

    1. Streets are an anachronism now being put to better use. If you are staying home you won't be outside on the public street so I guess you are confused about something.

  2. This crap won't last - Gov't at all levels needs the earners at work to pay the (ever increasing) taxes that pay for their salaries/retirement packages and all the 'goodies' promised to constituents.

  3. The stay at home orders are over! This is ridiculous when everyone was able to walk on any street and go to the parks. It's also hysterical for food places to serve people eating on the streets and in parking garages. I can't wait to how this turns out. Watch out for rats!

  5. ^^Right, and if that is all it was that would be ok, but it has turned into neurotic unemployed moms and dads bowing up to people who dare to come down the 'closed' street on their way home.

  6. Open Spaces was a big failure. Open streets will be too.

  7. Can this be done on the east side as well, except with the opposite focus? Keeping locals from leaving their streets and neighborhoods? Just a thought.
